Reached Pune: 1618 Kms at 0528 hours.

His chain started emanating noises and he lost grip on his rear brake completely. He lost a lot of time trying to look for a place to get it fixed first at Himmatnagar and then at Gandhinagar. Currently he is also facing issues with his console that is showing erratic figures. Thus he is not sure of the speeds or distances covered. This seems to have demoralised him a little bit judging by the way he talked. After over 24 hours of riding, he sounds a little tired. But he is on his way back now. I hope he continues full power and nothing goes wrong with his bike anymore.
      Amen !!

            Latest news is Bad News!

Sunil Kapoor was just short of Gandhinagar when I got his call at 1816 hours wherein he missed his Bun Burner by 13 minutes. It is really unfortunate. But he is coming back t'row morning early to Delhi. Even if he missed the Bun Burner, he did a tremendous run. I will be going there t'row morning to receive him. If fellow xBhp-ians are interested, they can come along and join me to give him a warm welcome back! Please send me a PM.

But knowing him I know that he will come back strongly.

Well if it just the Certificate then I would say Bad Luck, but believe me Sunil, the Attempt in itself was a certificate, so what if it does not come from the IBA, in our world you are already a CERTIFIED BUN BURNER....

                          you've been marvelous

Truly said by dcs - it's the attempt that counts man!!! Obviously the number plate is the icing on the cake but then having done the distance is in itself an achievement!!!

Helmets off to you again mate!!!

                              u rock bro...

after this whole journey u don't need a certificate...

respect is what you've earned from this journey...

P.S.- In place of his luck, shouldn't we blame bajaj's quality for these 13 minutes???

                                Sunny

This is so bloody frustrating. Missing the certificate by just 13 mins is very bad. I am not sure whom to accuse. But at this time Bajaj's quality comes into question. I am sorry can not help. Nevertheless Sunil u did a great job and a marvellous ride. Kudos to you. The ride is nothing short of a great achievement. I hope in future you will achieve it.
