^ I dont think Bajaj quality is to be blamed at all. We have a habit of nitpicking things. Even bikes like the R1 and Blade break down, this was nothing. mechanical failures can happen to any machine.

The answer is below!Originally posted by pulsar_180 View PostThis is so bloody frustrating. Missing the certificate by just 13 mins is very bad. I am not sure whom to accuse. But at this time Bajaj's quality comes into question. I am sorry can not help.
Great answer Sunny! Could not have put it better myself.Originally posted by Sunny View Post^ I dont think Bajaj quality is to be blamed at all. We have a habit of nitpicking things. Even bikes like the R1 and Blade break down, this was nothing. mechanical failures can happen to any machine.

Well, Sunny your answer has won all my praises....!!
@ Sunil: Well, even if you missed the certificate by 13 minutes, you already have become a legend. be ready to answer all sort of questions in your pms and I am sure, your attempt has made a lot of us( including your humble self) get into some introspection and ask the question.... "Dare You????"
Cheers!!!Its not about the BHP or the CC, its about one common religion called Biking!!!

Hello
I am sorry if my words were harsh and they hurt anybody's sentiments. I have a Pulsar180(Fear the black). It is running issueless and I have done a couple of long tours on it also. But always people say about the quality issues etc. I am a firm believer on Bajaj quality but for sometime was carried away by other people's thoughts. Sorry to bajaj and all of u .

But apart from his bike, It was Sunil's dedication towards the journey that should be credited...

A Heartfelt thanx goes out to all the fellow bikers for your wishes.
But the persons who really brewed in me the confidence to actually do it will have to be Ken-Da and Moon( Love u Guys!)
Special thanx also to Old Fox for his help with Ahmedabad.
Sunny is right as far as Bajaj quality issues go but the only thing that i don't subscribe to is the Pulsar 200 (for that matter even 220 and avenger) parts being available only at probiking service.Last edited by sportyguysunny; 06-07-2009, 10:53 AM.

Congratulations on that impressive ride. People abroad just don’t get the distance vs time for highway travel in India, and there is no way you can explain it to them. Its a pitty about the rules, because doing 1000miles in India is totally different from doing it in Australia or America.
Who cares if you were 13 minutes short, look at it as an opportunity to try again. If you like the riding what’s there to lose?Last edited by Gasolinejunkie; 06-18-2009, 09:05 PM.

You are absolutely right about what you say there. The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!
