@insanebiker: yep.. it is Valparai.
@Ravi: The 220 pic is from the Pollachi-Valparai stretch. The famed 40-hairpin road.
and, we did go to munnar.. but not through Udumalaipet. Entered through kerala, got back the theni route.

Actually, that route almost similar to the route between Munnar and Theni. Took these pics when me and my wife drove that route.

@Ravi: Yep, the roads look very very similar. This was my first time at Valparai, i was surprised to see munnar-like roads, tea estates. But, the Valparai stretch was more fun with almost zero traffic and better roads.
we could not stop for any pics on the Munnar -Theni road cos' we were on a stiff schedule.
And our trip route was assembled from previous rides by Chennai xBhpians Ananth, Praveen and a few others.Comment
