  • Leaving for Ladakh on Monday. Finally!

So basically I'd been posting since July that I'd be going to Ladakh an all ASAP. But various factors kept post-poning this trip. But finally the ball has been set rolling for a solo trip.

The bike was serviced today. Good work done and it'sunning great. Spare parts have been bought. Lets see how the bike will stand up to the terrain.

Will be getting an additional memory card tomorrow, so will have 16+128+256 MB of memory in total for pictures and well as a few video clips.

So people basically, wish me luck! And watch this space after about 2 weeks for updates!

    Ride Hard! Live Free! Peace!

@ nikhil: Dude Marismik La is not completely Motorable road as it not a metalled road and above all there is all snow if you got a lighter 100cc bike you might be able to make it easy as you can twist your bike but not with KARI... But if there's no Snow then you are up for the Grabs...
&* For nubra You require a permit - contact any Tourist office. They charge you 100Rs. ANd next day you can go but I dont kno if for sure its open or not.

once i reach leh, then i shall sit tight for a while and try and get the situation on the present road conditions before venturing anywhere ...
