yeah, the puncture was because of a nail.

i ent to lamayuru a few days back. 270 kms round trip on the leh srinagar highway. on the way i met a guy from holland, on a 850 cc twin yamaha tdm. he'd ridden thru afganistan pakistan. 15k kms so far. i rode back with him to leh and he's now staying at my hotel... lots of pictures and video clips taken.

might be going to either pangong tso tomorrow or nubra valley again. a british coupe want me to accompany them. they have hired a pulsar 150.

more updates later ... this trip is turning out to be very interesting. i have met so many people ...

    bye for now.

guys, so far, have been to nubra valley twice. khardung la thrice. today i went to k top with fredrick (guy with yamaha tdm 850) read previous posts.

his bike climbed till about 16000 feet after which it would not climb any further. so he sat pillion on my bike. which easily managed to reach khardung la. it has plently of pulling power. altitudes not a problems.

bunny, no problems with starting even at 18300 feet !

was at khardungla at 7:00 pm while returning from nubra valley (this time went upto panamik and beyond which is only 45 kms from the start of the siachen glacier). it was dark and i was the only guy on the road from khardung la to leh. some experince. and it was pretty cold too.

i finally go to pangong tso tomorrow and then back on my 3 day return trip to meerut.

                      wish me luck.

lovemax, i will be in manali on the 13th or the 14th. so i guess we will not be able to meet ...

hello. yesterday was the last chapter of my journey. went to pangong tso. 300 km round trip. had to cross chang la ... 17800 feet. the lake was awesome. words cannot describe it ...

came back to the guest house and had a bottle of godfather super strong beer. just the stuff you need after a long ride. then two british chaps joined me. and we were talking about biking in the UK, music movies etc etc.

after seeing pangong tso, i now want to see tsomoriri, but i think my bike will fall apart if i try going to tsomoriri. i think i'll leave it for next time.

i head back tomorrow. tomorrow i stop at sarchu, the day after that manali. and on the third day head back to meerut from manali.

this is ofcourse if i don't go to tsomoriri instead!
