Rural Bengal is indeed beautiful, interminable stretches of paddy fields interspersed with banana plantations. Looks really wonderful with some nice sunsets during the monsoons.

Yes Cockfights are banned in India for a number of decades now I think.

OT; I have approved your membership on the Photographer. You can post your intro now!

Edit: After watching the video, it did leave a real bad taste. I cut meat regularly to eat, but this looks unholy to me! Disturbs my mind!
Thanks Ken da for patiently reading the log and watching all the photographs. I was about to post my intro in the Photographer. But then I saw that I have to post three of my best photographs. I do not have a single photograph that can be termed as good also I am only two weeks old into photography. Anyways, I will post my intro.
      Thanks again for you comment.

Damn!!! Another one is getting addicted to touring.
BTW, Bhaskar we do tours regularly. Attaching couple of pics from my earlier rides with the RoadRollers. Taken at totally different terrain. See how wonderful Bengal is. By the way, one of the photo is from West Mindapur district and another one is from Bankura.

I do not agree. You got some really good photographs. Trouble is choosing which three!
The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

Once you fall in love with the highways, its very difficult to stay back at home. Once a tourer, always a tourer

It reminds me our earlier days, when riding out to somewhere at the week ends, was a routine. Thanks for sharing !
