  • Majestic Rajasthan : 3000 kms touring on my beloved R6

    JJ hehe.

JJ and then I told her about 2 Easter eggs for her in my trip 1) I shall meet and see her sister studying in Jaipur 2) I shall go and meet her parents in palanpur too. So she was happy because I rarely got much chance to go to palanpur since last 2 years.

Okay so the family granted permission and the babe was more than ready but still I had one niggling problem with the battery. Due to the inactivity since last 7-8 months the battery had died. So I changed the battery, bought a coolant in case it gives problem. Had the brakes n all the regular stuff checked. But this time I had to carry all my belongings with me unlike Hampi where my belongings were in the saddle bag on my friends Unicorn.
So still unsure how I will carry all the stuff and lots of work in office it was the second last day that I went in search of a backpack. Went to Adventure 18 at grant road and then Heera Panna,

    Bought
    • Caterpillar Steel toed Shoe.

L probably that plastic piece must be the one responsible for the trye losing grip at times. Or maybe my suspension setting that I was experimenting with since weeks.

J You know the movies have that count of how many kisses or smooches it has between a particular couple. Similarly I too thought shall keep a count of the 1st question regarding the cost of the bike. I am so sorry I lost count on the first day itself but all I know is not a SINGLE person I met left without shooting this one to me. Though I gave them proper reply all the times, but still felt like having it printed on my jacket or better tattooed on my foreheadJSubah se main hi mila tha kya ?J So I figured out and later used to give a lesser figure so all was fine.

Nicely done. Good details about your bum pains getting severe and you dozing off in the tub. Enjoyed reading what you wrote. I wonder how you do touring with that backpack. Do you have it on your body or do you strap it on to the bike? Looks quite massive to carry on your body. It would tear your shoulders apart on high speeds it seems.

This is already your second trip on the 600?
The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

Heyy ken thank you, am glad you liked the write up. Ya this was my second trip. Last time i didnt have anything on me...all my belongings were strapped on my friends saddle bags. This time since i was alone i had to buy this backpack as saddle bags for sbk's are not so easily available, and online i found the shipping etc too expensive so thougght shall look, check and buy personally when i go abroad. I had it on my body, i loosened the shoulder straps and tightened the waist straps...so the weight was on the back seat and not my shoulders.

I didnt experience any pull at high speeds but yes first 2 days i had little problem calibrating the length of shoulder and waist straps. At high speeds if the shoulder straps were too lose the backpack would swing left/right and that would affect the stability. So at high speeds i would tighten the shoulder straps and it was just fine.

And kenda going through your gallery i foud that you too were present at the pushkar fair....i have this feeling that i had seen you and circumstances were such that i couldnt ask that person if he was our 'kenda' and that person too saw me So pls do let me know...were you present at pushkar during the fair ?
