It was mentioned in the log. It is the Baikhalti - Mashobra stretch; it is a stage of the SJOBA Rally. There are videos of Nitin, Vivek, Aneesh and me trying this stage if you remember! It is the same one.
The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

The videos have come up nicely, but the sizes are mammoth. It will be some-time before those can be compressed and uploaded on a channel like Youtube.

My 1st ever trip to the Hills with Dadas of xBhp.........

I'm very happy which i cant explain but still i would like to share my experience to all that doing a trip with
such big people is like a dream come true coz very less people get chance to go on a trip with the people like Ken
Da & Aryan Da (Dadas). I was very exited when the day came for the trip i wake up at 2:30 am just to reach on time. I live
in Gr. Noida & i had to reach South X, nearly 40kms to a decided meet up destination (In & out). Before going on a trip a day before we
all had been called on a place for the updated of the trip, a small check up that whether we are ready or not &
to decide that what kind of ride it is going to be. Actully everyone was overexited coz it was going to be very
fasinating & chilly. Fantasy is always there with me, even i dont know how it happen but i like to see new thing
in a different way & this one was chilling fantasy.

Early morning on 29th Nov. 09' DAY 1,
The biggest day in my biking life, i left my place at 3:15am for South X & the whole way i was just thinking that what kind of trip it is going to be,
on the way i had a small stop to let Zayn my other pal to join me, as he was also in for the trip, he was timely there & then we reached to the destination together & surprise surprise what i saw Yamaha R1 of Ken Da. I got sure that R1 is coming with us coz i cant find Aryan Da's Classic or P200, which made me sure that we are on a Dream run to Shimla, we all had a chit chat on the destination (In & out), & then we get the sweet words of Shivi bhai who is our home made Devil that yes R1 is going with you all & you all are very lucky to be in this trip coz both the senior members are leading with you all.

                      Now the total number of people going on the trip was 7;
                      1: Ken Da (Bajaj Pulsar 220 DTS-Fi)
                      2: Aryan Da (Yamaha YZF-R1)
                      3: Psycho Mc.Crazy (Bajaj Pulsar 180 Classic)
                      4: Zayn (Bajaj Pulsar 150 DTS-i)
                      5: Sikhbiker (Bajaj Pulsar 180 DTS-i)
                      6: thechamp (Bajaj Pulsar 180 DTS-i)
                      7: PetrO (Bajaj Pulsar 150 DTS-i)

                      Guest Appereance:
                      1: Shivanshu (the Devil)
                      2: Addy (the clicker)
                      3: Raktim

Finally serious topic starts here THE TRIP coz it was going to be my first trip in my BIKING LIFE even for my IRON HORSE(Got a new name from Psycho)

We Newbies got 10 mins to decide our strategy to go in the group as if who will lead, what position we will take while riding, hand signals & all other safety measures. A small check up is also been made that who bought the first aid kit, tool kit, cameras etc. Still at the destintion we were missing with 2 riders, one of them was late i.e. the champ but he
arrived later on before conversation starts & the second one was Sikhbiker, actully he was not late, he was going to meet up directly on the
Delhi Karnal bypass. We all left the destination to reach our original destination SHIMLA after hearing the roaring sounds of our beasts & the papa beast R1. Forgot to tell you we had an guest appereance on the In & out for the see off. I know they all were praying in there mind that Da tell us that we too are coming with us on the trip .

4:30am the time we started our bikes for THE TRIP, i was praying everything to be fine on the trip, i prayed & then we left the
place & to catch 1 more biker on the bypass. We met Sikhbiker @ time & he too was wating for us to be there on time which everyone did it. All greated him & let him know to leave fast coz we wana reach on time. Still it was as everybody is knowing we all were going & going & going on the highway which was very fast coz of cars & trucks & we were fast too, too catch them & over took them. 1 Skoda Superb driver was drinig very rash to whom Aryan Da showed his position to podium i.e. 2nd R1 beated the car. R1 is a very fast bike & Aryan Da was riding it was awesum. I had heard earlier that Aryan Da had a great control on his mind which i really seen on the trip. Riding a Super bike on the whole trip & jelling with the Indian bikes on their speed is very difficult task. I know if i would be riding that bike i cant ride slow i would definately ride hard but hatsoff to Aryan Da who indirectly taught me a very tough lesson on riding bike on constant speed even it is a super bike like R1. We were riding on a non light highway & as we reach the 1st toll road everyone was playing with the top end of there respective bikes, the best thing was no 1 was overtaking each other which i mean a big respect to the bikers while riding in a group, before leaving everyone had got there position of driving in the group & we choose our lead biker Psycho Mc. Crazy(Saurabh), as he is a very experienced biker we decided him to lead. We all had decided that every biker will get chance to lead as we had to go very far.

6:45am Our 1st stop was when we crossed the toll road just after the
toll gates we got a signal from Aryan & Ken Da to stop coz after that we were going to have our next stop in Ambala. We all had a bit of chat
regarding riding the bikes & a small breif as how we all are riding & some jokes to cheer up, some gone for the fresh n up, actully i was the 1st person to be there. After the stop we decided to take the next stop in Ambala & on the way a surprise, while riding on 80-90km/hr of speed we found a bit of traffic so when i tried to change my gears i saw that my gear lever was missing so i started giving the sound signal to everyone to stop. The good thing was i was on 5th gear so it actully helped me to carry on with others. We had stopped on a Dhaba refilled our stomach
taken some fresh air & then we left in search of Bajaj Service center & we wasted near about 2 hrs in getting it, i was totaly embarased & scrued coz due to me we wasted a lot of time. Finally we got it & again headed towards Shimla. We all reached at the starting point of hills (Kalka) near about 1pm, again we got a small stop to get in groups. Aryan & Ken Da in one group, Me Sikhbiker & Psycho were in other group, Zayn & the champ in one & enjoyed lot of curves while heading towards Shimla. Traffic was nice but few arogent bus drivers were not in the mood to give sides at all which made us a bit affraid coz no 1 wana go down from the hills, so we decided to let them go. We all taken 2-3 stops on the way to Shimla & saw the people covering us just to see the biggest beast among us. Few of the guys were so exited that they stopped at that place where we take stops means Aryan Da stops the bike & localied cover him. Ken Da told us to follow him to the hotel which i think he was already having in his mind.

The Holiday Hotel was very nice & cheap place for us with a proper parking space. After reaching the hotel we just take 1/2hr to get ready
to meet again & to head towards Mall Road to have our lunch, we all had some nice chat & laughed alot. After having lunch & all we headed toward the church where we all clicked some nice scenery & a group photograph everythimg there was beautiful. Ken Da started taking interview of all the newbies just to know that how was the experience till that time was.
We spend around 3-4 hrs there & had a great chat regarding our riding techniques like riding in hills, leaning on the curves, proper leaning posture & our very own experience in our life regarding biking. I had done more
than 60000kms in last 4 years which i think is average to me. Just as a commuter i had done 60000kms i think is a big number when i came to know that i was the person there excluding Ken & Aryan Da
had done this much, i just love to commute which i do & will continue.
8pm We decided to get our dinner first & done it in an Tibetan restaurant, then we will head towards the hotel. Dinner was done, everyone was out of energy. When we reached in our room Ken Da told us to meet him in his room to have masti & a bit of chat again. We returned nearby 9pm. Ken Da was carrying a French Bike magzine & he started a quiz in which everybody FAILED. We were having
Ken Da told us that we will head towards a place in morning called Fagu for a bit of offroading. I was a bit nervous coz i already had a bad experience on the Dhauj track while practicing so i decided to ride slow coz i wasnt in the mood to go down from the hills which was very easy there. We headed in our rooms & zzzzzzzzzz............
11pm GOOD NIGHT HAVE A NICE SLEEP

                      END OF DAY 1

                      6am 30th Nov. 09' DAY 2,
Got a wakeup knock on the door, i was still sleeping someone opened the door & it was Psycho(Saurabh). When someone closed the door i opened my eyes & started saying "time ho gaya ab utho taiyaar ho" & what i get the reply "so ja abi time hai". Still i left the bed & gone for fresh up coz i dont wana be the person due to whom everyone gets late.

7:30am Left the hotel for offroading near Fagu. On the way few got refueled some were eagerly wating to reach there. On the way people were watching us like some race is going to happen there. On the track we did got some instructions from Ken Da regarding offroading which helped us very much & then we started to leave. We had decided to meet
at the end of the track on the main road which was 18kms away. After a bit of practice we had our breakfast at Solen & we went back to our hotel. We packed up taken our luggage, got ready, heated our beasts & started heading back to Delhi as fast & easy as we can, while coming down from th e hills the road were very smooth & everyone was trying their skills on leaning. The leaning part was awesum coz i had never seen the roads so smooth like those ones & its sure i will never find one, the roads were very smooth on the corners. After the hills we had taken a small break for a small discussion as if who will lead & all that part which we need while riding in a group. We decided that we will ride till the light is there so our 1st proper stop was Karnal at a place called Haveli, that was a very nice place to see new things like camels & all. That is
definately a fun place to go with a group or if u want to go with ur girlfriend . We all had our lunch near about 6pm & then Ken Da & Aryan Da left for their place & Zayn joined them. Me, the champ, Psycho & Sikhbiker decided to stay for a while for taking some clicks coz that was a beautiful place. We stayed there for an hour & then we decided to leave, it was chilling out there so everyone was packing himself like an roasted fried leg piece which mouthwatering but we were already full after the lunch so we started our bikes & headed towards our last destination HOME SWEET HOME.
On the way back the last toll road was completely empty so we decided to play with the top end of our bikes & it was a great thing to do. Finally after all the dust we had & a terefic traffic can be seen we reached the bypass where Me & the champ headed towards one direction & Psycho headed with Sikhbiker.

Our whole trip was awesum but finlly when i reach Gr. Noida it was near about 10-10:30pm, just near my home i had a hard jerk from my bike & a hard sound from the engine, I stopped. After searching for the problem
what i found is that i cant push my kick gurrrr which means my bike engine got seized. I thought after so much driving i cant pull my bike but i had to do it coz i cant leave my bike on the road so i pulled it till my home.
I was totally out of my energy & full of sleep in my eyes.

End of DAY 2 THE TRIP...............

The ride towards the hills was my 1st experience, as a commuter i ride my bike for very long distance but never got a chance to ride on hills. I thank Ken & Aryan Da for choosing me in the Induction Ride, it was pleasure
riding with them. As i had felt that seriously without the bike Ken & Aryan Da can explain you clearly how to ride in a group, on the hills, on the plains & on the tracks. Hats off to you sir, i m seriously proud to be
the part of this Ride & to be a part of xBhp.......................

Still i am upset with few people, not the fellow bikers but with the common public. I had seen this many times that whenever i carrying my biking gears like jacket, gloves, guards etc. most of the people ask me "Bhai Race karte ho" it annoys me very much that how can we change the view of people ragarding biking. Biking not always means racing or stunting it also means what we did. I know they dont know that we are on a tour but still if they find us at a place like Haveli or in Ambala or in Shimla with bags then why they cant think something else.

I Thank to all my fellow rider & Specially to the MODS Ken Da & Aryan Da thanks for the wonderful trip & for a wonderful experience. THANKS to xBhp for giving bikers such a platform where they can meet up share or gain their biking skills & knowledge INDIA needs it.

Just read through your log. I am sorry for the accident in your family. Hope everything gets fine.

Nice log you have written. Nothing to be embarrassed about that you lost your gear lever. These things happen. My Harley gear selector fell off during my ride in France last year. Unknown Harley riders on the road put in a screw there for me to get back home!

I remember you signaling me that you were on 5th and that we could continue. Thankfully we could go on on 5th. Else we would have lost even more time.

I liked the honest evaluation. You marked 2 for your bike preparedness. Which is what I think is true!

I wish you lots of trips in the future.
The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!
