@Jithu, DK: Am very bad at maths. Jithu you need to ride with me to know what am talking about, sometimes even I get surprised when I reach a place superfast, where i was supposed to reach 10 mins late

Ha Ha , next time before you post timings and disatnce just think twice .
Whether i am with you or not you cant travel with 180 km /Hour in your karizma right ? For covering 120 km in 40 minutes your Average speed should be 180 km/Hour. So next time you better check your watch .

Anyway i love to ride to Mumbai and join you guys alteast for one trip .
YOu guys are really rocking.SO many bike trips happening in and around Mumbai .

This next bit isn't Xbhp approved but...

Tee-Shirt, Shorts, Caterpillar boots and a gym bag with clothes. Hopped on the Karizma and took off to Chennai at 1:00pm in POURING rain. Non-stop rain all the way to Kolhapur during which I covered 400kms in 7 hours with incessant rain. Reached there looking and smelling like a drowned rat. I had to dry the clothes in the gym bag as well as everything was wet. Spread clothes all over the hotel room and ordered tandoori chicken and beer for the night. Woke up at 5:00am and dressed up in clothes that were still wet and left for Chennai.

Covered 1000kms on day 2 in 13 hours in non-stop rain again. This was the toughest ride of my life and I don't think anything else has come close.
Wasnt this for souping up the ZMA or damn! you have done so many Chennai trips that makes it difficult even for my well indexed head to remember!

That reminds me of our 3-idiots adventure. Hyderabad to Visakhapatnam (under 700 KMs) in 24 hours. More than half of it on the GQ. Right from Sleeping on the divider, napping on the tank bag, riding with closed eyes, hitting an RTC bus and loosing the headlight.... it has a lot of flavour.

Well, I wasn't part of it. Raghu (Booo), Ravi Kiran (caravikiran) and Sumit (sumit.rhl) set out from Hyderabad in the morning hoping to reach Visakhapatnam before dark. Perfect. But nont of them had slept for almost 2 days before that. I wish one of them speak up here.

I haven't done any long distance ride on a motorbike.
My toughest (and only) ride was Ambala to Chandigarh (~50 km).
Not a very long ride, but the fact that I was doing it on a Hercules Windpacer made it tough! Such a Goddamn heavy bike!!!

You can see the pics here:

Although me not much into touring ...My toughest ride till now was to Bhairavakona Waterfalls...

The route was like Nellore-->Bhairavakona-->Nellore... 294Kms...Single road..Oncoming RTC buses was a nightmare as i had to get down almost everytime off the road..Although the road wasn't much better too..Full of potholes..Suffered with blinding from oncoming RTC Buses and Trucks in the nights...Bum was paining

                      Anyway enjoyed a lot
