OldFOX, What a feat !! Taking the Superbike to the top of the world is one thing, taking it there through 400 kilometers of snow, ice, sleet, sludge is completely another thing!! I am overawed and salute you.

I am sorry for being late in congratulating you, I just did not get the Internet connectivity in the last days.

                    Cheers

Kudos to the feat achieved by the gentleman and his team.

Is Bandit 1250SA a Super Bike? It is a good and very able street motorcycle which can do a wee bit of off-roading, am glad you guys didn't attempt it with the poor GSX.

GREAT JOB! Amazing feat really. I wonder how incredibly tough it must have been. I also believe that not only does this require extraordinary riding skills to handle something like the Bandit at 250+kilos but it also requires the physical stature of someone like OF who is not only Big but also strong. I doubt if someone petite like... I can't think of anyone at this moment, but hypothetically, someone measuring 165cms and weighing in at 50 kilos would have found it even tougher to handle this Bandit thrashing around in mud, slush and snow. Excellent job OF. I wouldn't dare take such a bike through what I came through a few days back!

I am not sure if the Bandit is supposed to do this!

Sandeep- It is an achievement par excellence that you have done with the Bandit, coz I know handling a sporty bike on the slush, dirt & rocks is no joke, unless you are a really accomplished rider. Full marks to you. Three cheers

I had an inkling of this ride when a friend spotted the Bandit in Leh

Amazing stuff OF. You deserve every plaudit in the books and this thread for having achieved this.
