Same thoughts. Thats the greatest fear, that if u have a fall, get lost, or have a mechanical failure, how do you manage.

      Thanks Deepan..

Regarding Routes - I do carry Eicher map, which is close to accurate.I would say 85 %.Then we have everywhere to advice about the route.Confirm with atleast 3-4 peoples for the same route. If you are in good luck majority of the people will tell you the right way.Sometimes it goes the other way and you have to face the consequences.I have been into many such situations where i had to take Bad Routes/Long Routes etc.But these are the moments/experiences you will cherish for your entire life .When i went to TOP Station..few guys told me about the short cut between Top Station to Kodaikanal.I have to go thru hell after taking that route. But the experience was awesome..scary as well

Mechanical failure - Its all about how bad the damage is and options available to get it done.Best thing about our country is..you get people in every corner..every KM..specially mechanics :P If you are out of option..then the only thing is to carry/ride your bike the way it is.It might damage your bike more, but then what option do you have ?? Never had a issue with Engine and all but near satara..My R15'S rear rim cracked at 8:30 in the night.Given that i had no options,I rode it..till Pune with a cracked RIM :P

Fall - When i go Solo,I always ride slow.Avoid riding in night :P .This is something i was never able to avoid :P..Fall i mean..but since i was riding slow..damage was less.Last year i went to MP on my CBR and i crashed with an OMNI while going to Damoh from Khajuraho..That guy ran away and few peoples came to rescue.Left foot was badly swollen and i had to ride next 40 kms on second gear..as i was unable to use my left foot.I checked in a hotel in Damoh and stayed for 4 days.Went to Sarakari hospital, did xrays..took medicine and came back on the road .Went to Pachmari and then returned to Pune via Nagpur.

So..jeevan kaa saar ye hi ki..You have to find out a way to rescue yourself when you are F**ed up.If you are not in condition to rescue yourself, then you are in hand of god and people around

Sorry thoda senti hoke bada saa essay likh dia.Padh lena aur koi Grammatical Thruti hui ho,toh kshama kar dena

Never argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and then beat you with experience.
