    Hello Brothers.

I [Abhishek Arora] am a hard core xBhpian and a Gearhead [member of GEARS, Goa], planned a road trip to Rajasthan with my college mates [also xbhpians] - Danish Khan and Kartik Mahon.
Please read the ride plan and give suggestions:

Day 1: We will start our ride from MANIT, Bhopal on 27th of feb. 2013, early morning around 6 in the morning for Jaipur which is around 600 Kms, taking the route via Kota on NH12. And will stay there at my friend's place in Jaipur.

Day 2: As we are students of Architecture and town planning, we would love to explore the architecture of the pink city. So the second day will go off exploring Jaipur.

Day 3: We will ride to Bikaner, which is 330 Kms from Jaipur via NH11. The plan is to reach as early as possible so that we explore Bikaner also the same day, as few of my Rajasthani friends suggested me. Yet to decide about the stay.

Day 4: Ride to Jaisalmer, which is 331 Kms from Bikaner via NH15. And will explore Jaisalmer also the same day. As Bikaner to Jaisalmer is one of the best roads in the country, so badly waiting to reach that point. Ever since I saw Sirish and Shubhabrata from Overdrive ripping off Audi R8 and Suzuki Hayabusa, I wanted to go there. Yet to decide about the stay.

Day 5: We will ride to Jodhpur, 272 Kms from Jaisalmer via NH15 and MDR32. and will explore Jodhpur also the same day. Yet to decide about the stay.

Day 6: We will ride to Udaipur, 268 Kms from Jodhpur via SH61 and NH8. will explore most parts of the city the same day as well as next day. We will stay at our friend's place there.

Day 7: We will explore Udaipur as well as Mount Abu. Heard a lot about these places.

Day 7: We will say goodbye to Rajasthan early morning and will start our ride for Bhopal via Ratlam and Ujjain from SH32.

So brothers, if you have been there, or stay in Rajasthan, the do guide us. If you think of a better plan, then please feel free to tell us. And please provide the information about road conditions of highways, and is it safe to ride during night? If the highways or the state highways have proper road lights, then we can ride at night also if we feel comfortable that time. Also guide some cheap hotels in Bikaner, Jaisalmer and Jodhpur.

    WANT TO JOIN THE RIDE?
If you think you are a safe rider, and like in Bhopal or nearby, you can join the trip. Contact me on +91-8989118088.

    Thanks a lot brothers.

      Hi guys!
      Few pointers from my side
      1) I suggest you take a day off in Jaisalmer, it will give you an opportunity to visit Tanot and Longewala, must visits in Jaisalmer. Try to stay in the village khuri for the night, absolutely worth it. I will share the details once we meet.
      2) From Jodhpur to Udaipur take the following route:
      Jodhpur-Pali-Sanderao-Falna-Sadri-Ranakpur-Sayra-Gogunda-Udaipur
It is a beautiful and scenic route, unlike rest of the Rajasthan and definitely a must do.
      3) Or alternatively you can give a miss to Mt. Abu and include Kumbhalgarh. So your day 6 should be
      Jodhpur-Pali-Sanderao-Falna-Sadri-Rakanpur-Kumbhalgarh
      4) Don't miss Bullet baba or Om banna as it is known in local language enroute Pali.

Rest when we meet. Ride safe.

1 day for Jaipur seems enough.

You guys must have been there before ? & know the timing for Nahargarh Fort ?
It's off after 5pm. Try visiting before that. Nice place to ride on mountain.

And do you have / know accommodation for night stay there ?
If No / looking for cheap.
Let me know, I'll give you a cheap but good hotel's address.

Thanks alot for the reply Sird.

This is the first time we are going to Rajasthan. We will try our best to visit Nahargarh Fort by time.
Some of my friends from Rajasthan, suggested us to stay at Jain dharmshalas. Was that a good advise. If not, then please provide me the names and addresses of cheap and good hotels.

Yes the road from Udaipur to Mt. ABU is absolutely fantastic! but unfortunately Mt. Abu was a total disappointment for me. It has turned into a liquor bar for thirsty ones from Gujarat.
