Yep. I've had enough of this fellow. But my Dad insists on 'offcial' service centers because he thinks other mechs steal your shit. LOL.

Re: Query regarding touring on 125cc
Hi guys out there. Just taking this chance to ask a small question myself. I own a yamaha SZR. As you all know she's a very comfortable commuter bike, but what I wanted to ask is whether I can do tours on this say 2K kms and above with her. In city I ride between 40-50 kmph speeds & average distance of 30kms a day. Highway riding speeds may go upto 60-70kmph. Would she be able to take it???

Re: Query regarding touring on 125cc
Thanks for the info Deepak bhai. I was actually planning to take the following routeOriginally posted by deepakp10 View PostI had done lonavala trip twice it is very nearby to mumbai and you will not face any kind of problem like engine over heating or other thing, Just keep your speed below 90 kmph and take a break after 1 hour. Keep riding at constant speed on left side of road and use indicators and head turn check before overtaking any vehicles. be aware of four vehicles specially touring vehicle they have different attitude toward motorcycle.
You may reach lonavala within 2 hours so dont rush it is not too far. route is as follows -->Mumbai -->vashi --> panvel-->catch NH4 toward bangalore -->after madh take a left --> welcome to lonavala..
Best of luck for your journey...
We are waiting for your experience..
I suggest you to please read all safety related article on this site they are very useful to survive on two wheeler no matter where you are riding...
Meeting my friend underneath Andheri flyover - JVLR - Eastern express highway - Pune Rd (Thane Toll Plaza) - NH4 to Lonavala
Does this route fall under the old pune highway. I don't want to end up near the high speed expressway and get stuck/fined.

What do you mean by "may go upto 60-70 kmph"?Originally posted by ani_iceman View PostHighway riding speeds may go upto 60-70kmph. Would she be able to take it???
Doesn't it go higher? Or you don't take it higher? If it doesn't go higher, visit a mech/SVC ASAP and get the clutch plates/air filter/sprockets/carb looked into!
Else, tank up and ride.
Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

Come on man, guys on xBhp has successfully completed saddlesore on P135 which is just 10cc larger than Super Splendor. All I'd say is get the headlight upgraded by rewinding the stator and installing an ape RR and install a HID. You need very good light while touring.I am back!

the SZR is a very capable bike, I myself did a blr-mumbai and back on it about 3 months back
very stable at 70-75. If you can handle it, feel safe to go for 150-170 kms non stop at those speeds. Just make sure you lube the chain really well before the ride

Yes she is. I cleaned the chain a month back and every 15 days I lube it with a chain lubricant. it has significantly increased her performance.Originally posted by snehithpereira View PostIf I may poke my nose here
