          Planning for a late June/Early July ride

          Hey All,

          I too am planning for a Leh-Ladakh-Pangong Tso ride.. later this year.. I am planning to visit the area around Last week of June or Early July 2011. I am looking for a start from Bangalore/Mumbai (Bangalore-Home town; Mumbai-Worktown).. Any riders planning around the same time ???

          I am guessing its going be a 16-18 day journey point-to-point. Any takes on that ?

          P.S: The xBhp Bandit to Khardungla video has got me even more excited. All I dream of these days is that ride in More plains... God, please bless us with the CBR delivery soon

              In short "being leh'd!"

              I wish to go this time in june-july from pune...

                Guys,

                Probably my first post here. I am planning to travel from Blore to Leh in July. Am from blore obviously. Anyone have any similar plans???

                I was thinking of actually taking the bike in train upto delhi and on the way back, ride all the way over to blore. That could save sometime.

                Any similar riders around??

                  I too am planning a ride late june/early july.. Take the bikes from B'Lore by train till Delhi.. Ride up via Manali and back via Srinagar...
                  Any others U know planning from Bangalore ??

                    Is It Ok ?? Masters Pl Suggest

                    Hi Masters,

                    pl cross check and suggest: Road Condition,Food,Fuel,Shelter,Old Monk Availability\\/ etc.
                    • Day 1 (March22.2011) :Hoshiarpur to Shimla - 250km(50kph).

                      Day 2 (March23.2011) :Shimla to Kalpa - 247km(35kph).

                      Day 3 (March24.2011) : Kalpa to Chitkul - 77km (20kph).

                      Day 4 (March25.2011) : Chitkul to Narkanda - 194km (30kph).

                      Day 5 (March26.2011) : Narkanda to Chail - 75km (40kph)

                      Day 6 (March27.2011) : Chail to Hoshiarpur - 250km (50kph)

                    1. Its not a serious sort of trip

                      Wheelies : 2x135 Yamaha RX.

                      All 4 (2x(RX+Seat Owner)) we are good friends.

                      All 4 of us usually take a break in front of non-veg dealers.

                          Yes u can go but u have to plan accordingly ..
                          U can join us if u want we will be having one or two couples with us ... So if u want then u can let me know ... we r planning in the first week of august of this year ... let me know if u r interested ...
