    So you mean to say if i take the train from Mumbai on Saturday & reach Delhi on Sunday morning, i wont be able to collect my bike on Sunday, as they have an off on Sunday.

    So its only possible to collect the bike on Monday.

    Please shed some light on this ?

      2. 27th June: Manali – Rest & sight seeing
      3. 28th june: Manali – Jispa (138 KM)
      4. 29th June: Jispa – Pang (170)
      5. 30th June: Pang – Leh (257)
      6. 1st July: Rest & sightseeing
      7. 2nd July : Leh – Khardung La & Nubra Valley (150)
      8. 3rd July : Nubra – Leh (150 KM)
      9. 4th July : Leh – Pangong lake (154 KM)
      10. 5th July : Pangong – Leh (154 KM)
      11. 6th July : Leh - Kargil (210 KM)
      12. 7th July : Kargil – Shrinagar (204 KM)
      13. 8th July : Shrinagar – Amritsar (512 KM)
      14. 9th July : Rest – Wagah border
      15. 10th July : Amritsar – Delhi/Bangalore (447 KMS)
      16. 11th July : Back in Office

      Total KMS - 3167

      Bikers Confirmed:
      1.Ashok +1 - Honda Stunner
      2.Nawaz - Yamaha FZ

      this is my 2nd leh ride after last years... (beauty attacting me all over again)

        I also want to know more about this. Say If we reach on Sunday by train, is it not possible to collect the bike ? I'm talking about the case when I'm taking my bike as a personal luggage. I think it should not be a problem, but you never know

        By the way, which train do the Hyderabad folks prefer?

          we have booked out tickets for friday evening & reaching there by friday late night...

            Are you guys taking a flight to Delhi? How are you transporting your bikes to Delhi?
            We are doing it in a group of 4. Our dates being the same, our paths will cross more than once I think.. Happy riding !!

                If you are taking your bike with you as luggage, you can get it 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you are sending your bike as parcel (without you travelling in the same train), you can book or take delivery only between 10 am to 5 pm Monday - Saturday.

                    hey we are reaching back to delhi on sunday & same day we have flight back.... & now if we have to send the bike in train how do we do it???

                    if not what are the other alternatives which can work out on Sunday??

                    know any of private transporters??

                      Go for GATI in case you dont have time in hand.

                      GATI would be expensive than the railways, but safety and security of your bikes can be guaranteed if you send through them..

                                Guys yesterday I have seen this news about 2010 Himalayan Odessy and a picture of nearly 20-30 bulls riding together any info on that, is that organised by xBhp?
