Finally the dates are fixed for Leh.
I'll be doing it from 25th to 7th (14 days) Delhi - Leh - Delhi. Still need to fix up rest of the schedule. I just wanted to ask a quick question from the experienced ppl. Is it possible/advisable/feasible to cover Spiti Valley in this trip.
I've seen some majestic pics of the valley and don't want to miss it at any cost . Moreover, I don't see myself doing such a long trip of the mountains anytime soon.
Can someone pls tell me how I can include this into my schedule.
Till now, a very rough route map looks something like this
Delhi - Manali - 1 day - Leh(including all the places in and around Leh) - Kargil - Srinagar - Amritsar - Delhi = 14 Days of Trip
Can I somehow squeeze in Spiti Valley in there as well
I know I'm sounding too greedy but whatever

Some gyaan on people picking up thr bikes in Delhi to start thr journeys to Leh
New Delhi Railway station (NDLS)- Bikes can be collected 24hrs with Sunday being off. However they cannot be booked from NDLS if the owner dsnt have a confirmed ticket in the train in which he intends to send the bike. For booking the bike the owner neeeds to accompany it in the same train on a confirmed ticket. Booking can be done 24hrs.
Nizamudin(NZM) - Bikes which have been sent (w/o the owner accompanying it in the train) can collect in only from 0900-1700 hrs with sunday being off.
Bikes which are accompanied with owners in the same train can collect it 24hrs. The return booking is along same lines as NDLS

After Tandi You have Bunk in Leh.Originally posted by priyank500 View PostI need to know in which places can i find Petrol Pumps in Ladakh....

The Distance is 365kms & the bike gives only 60-70% of your normal Mileage in this route.
In Leh you have many Bunks.
After leh You have in Kargil.
There are no Bunks in Nubra & Pangong Tso.
There are hardly any thing Man made in these places except the Beautiful Nature.sigpic
