    First of all,You cant compare an Pirelli with MRF. Vyde and SD are both Soft compound tires,SD lasts up to 15k,as per user feedback's,there are vyde users who had changed the tyres at 5-6k.

    Dunlop Monster is a soft compound tyre,The center portion will wear off at nearly 8k,better get Sirac Sreet 100/90-18.

    You cant repair a bend alloys by heating,it isnt the best way to fix it,put ur bike in center stand and rotate the tyre using hand and check for bends in the alloys.

    Or is the tyre dislocated somehow & refitting the tyre would solve it?? Or some problem with sidewall of tyre or beading??

    The best option for Fz will be the Dunlop 140/70-17 and Pirelli SD 130/70-17,140 is very rare and its out of market due to ISI mark problem..

      I am also wanting to change my rear tyre of Fz. Are both the tyre of soft compound??? I am really fed up with my stock tyre being punctured very easily. A little harder will work well for me. Plz suggest

        Hi guys.. i have been running my unicorn on stock set of tyres since the time i bought it.. It has clocked 45000 kms.. I want to change the tyres both front & rear.. can any one please suggest me the best set... I want to have a tyre which have good grip .. confused between pirelli, michelin, dunlop & mrf..
        please suggest..

          Pirelli Sport Demon is Soft Compound,doesnt mean it means more punctures. Dunlop is not that soft IMO,Get PSD,if not available get Dunlop.

          Sirac 100/90-18 on rear and Sirac 2.75 * 18 on front.

              MRF Vyde is also a great tyre but wears out faster than PSD.

                    Bro, i have used MRF Vyde, never felt it be less on life, have heard PSD to fade off faster because its pretty much soft compound, but mrk vyde , i dont thin is soft compound.

If so then its a tyre issue and you have to replace the tyre.This procedure wont cost you more than 50 bucks. And you can rule out the rim bend too.

                      Note-Before and after you do this,Take some soap solution in a mug and pour is along the rim-tyre junction on both the sides.Leave for a minute.You can then clearly see the area where the air is leaking because it will be full of froth!

                      Thanks a lot for replies.. I took it to the local puncture shop & told him to remove the tyre to inspect whats wrong inside (he was very much insistent that its rim bend & cannot be solved without fitting a tube ) & to my surprise, there was lot of dirt in the beading!! No idea how it got there.. He cleaned it thoroughly & refitted it back & problem solved .. Checked after two weeks now & there is no pressure drop..
                      Ride hard.. Ride safe.. Always!

                            Hi Friends,
                            I own a pulsar 150dts-i (2004 model) alloy wheels with 62K kms in odometer.
                            In rear in have MRF Zapper Q for (1 year old). I ride around 50km daily on smooth road.
                            I am looking to buy a front Tyre for it .
                            Could you please suggest which tyre to go for Tubeless or Tube for better grip
                            & mileage and which Company to go for . I am daily rider ( Avg speed 55 km ) & preffer to use
                            front disk brakes.

                            Does tubeless tyres degrade the the mileage

                              Tyre selection for Honda Stunner CBF

                              Hi,

                              This is my 1st post, i own a Honda Stunner CBF since Sept 2008, bike is very responsive and good feel.
                              The rear tyre has almost gone and i am confused about which tyre should i buy, i want a tubeless heavy tyre.
                              The present rear tyre is 100/90 17 of MRF. I did some research what these numbers stand for MC Tire Designations | Products | Motorcycle Tires | Bridgestone Corporation

                              I checked out findTyre - motorcycle.michelin.in, it is a tubetyre, local mechanic is saying he can fit it as tubeless, i called Michelin, they told me they donot recommend this tyre to be used as tubeless.

                              So basically i want a 17" radial tyre, Can i use any one of these 17" options, like 130/70R17
                              ON ROAD RADIAL 16-18 inch | Products | Motorcycle Tires | Bridgestone Corporation

                              Please help!
                              Also suggest the best possible option
