Yes fz has got brilliant chassis, both the tyres and the small engine is not doing justice to this kind of bike, she deserves more powerful engine and tar like tyres.

Re: Tyres
Hey guyz..Is there any difference between tube-type rims & Tubeless rims??
I know the difference in tires & how to identify. But how can I identify if my rims support tubeless.
Any identification marks like those in tires?
My steed is RTR-Hyperedge 2010 model. Stocks came with tube-type tires.
So will it support tubeless tires??---------------------------------------------------------------------------

You can use tubeless tyres with your existing alloy wheels, you just have to change the air filling nozzle in the rim and you are good to go,alos make sure that your alloys are not bend or deformed at any place.

Re: Tyres
The MRF REVZ-S 130/70 R17 is also a soft and radial tyre like the michelin street radial..donno y its so expensive. almost 2k more than the mrf.
----consecutive posts auto-merged-----Originally posted by Divyanshp150 View PostIts a radial tyre my brother,
And very soft compound too.
Being a radial tyre its more resistant to flexing and deforming even on a little lower air,
Overall a superior design.
More puncture resistant too.
And man it grips!
divyansh....
The revz-s tyre which u r mentioning comes only in 130/70..the 140 section tyre is mrf revz not revz-s....and the revz-s will be lighter than ceat.. and it will be better for the NS.

Re: Tyres
Sirac street is rumored to be manufactured by TVS and is hard compound. I have been using it since 15k kms and I can tell you it GRIPS very bad on wet roads.Originally posted by Divyanshp150 View PostIm using a michelin sirac street 100/18 on my pulsar 150 classic
The tyre is awsome in dirt, good on dry tarmac - Agreed
Unbelievably good on wet sludge and ok in wet tarmac - Really?
Are you sure?
If you are a sedate rider and dont go over 100 then its good - Agreed
Tvs made michelins are at par with zper c and qs
Muxh better than tvs euroslips and crapchakras.....
Zapper q if you can source is also good!
And it might not be a direct fit
You might need to cut the chain cover... not sure but. Hunk owner might tell you better.
divyansh....
25k kms old zappers grip better on wet roads than sirac street!!
Like @kusmaker said you can use TL tyres on alloys. But make sure your alloy is free from bends. Even a slightest bend will create problems(Air leakage). I had this problem so had to use a tube.Originally posted by susheelkumar View PostHey guyz..Is there any difference between tube-type rims & Tubeless rims??

But on muddy off road sections its very good.
I generally stay below 80 bro.

Re: Tyres
Anyone here using ktm duke 200's front tyre 110/70-17 on Cbr 250r...?
I need a tyre change so soon and im not satisfied with the contigo's grip and I can't afford michellin pilot as well
So I guess MRF revz is the only option I got
Does it perform better than contigo on cbr...?
