Correct me if I'm wrong, but I feel that its grip and handling is amongst the best for zmr. As soon as I installed it, the motorcycle was more eager to lean in a corner. Also it gives more confidence than stock front tire.
In case you tend to use something other than sirac street, can you state your reasons?
Ok don't kill me for this but I find the stock front tire best amongst all available options. Sirac is heavy and it is cumbersome in ghats. Also, it is not very composed during rains.
P.S - will try CEAT next.

      Guys I need help

My bike is not even 2 months old.

Today was coming back from office suddenly felt like bike is wobbling thought its due to wind blast.

Then again it happend so stopped bike for fueling in Indian OIL station. There wanted to check the air pressure.

There one guy was standing next to air filling area and he told bike tyre is puncture.

I didnt believe it because i pressed tyre and checked. He told that he guess that i am new to tubeless tyres.

Then i told yes i am new. Then he filled more air and checked there was little bit air leak. It was like small pin size hole. was not visible at all.

He applied his saliva and checked. small bubble slowly came.

Then he asked should i go ahead and repair the puncture. Then i said ok.

He fixed one and was checking the tyre. one by one he found totally 8 puncures in back tyre alone all around the tyre.

There was not even a single nail or metal piece found. All were just kind of hole/leaks made by either needle or sack stitching needle.

I dont know if its real puncture made by me or the puncture walla cheated me by saying so many punctures.

I was in tension and confused totally as it was my first puncture. He told me to put the bike in center stand and hold back breaks to avoid wheel movement and i did so then he started piercing the tyre harshly in many places. I am not sure if he did put many holes while i was not noticing

4 holes in same area and 4 others in different areas. He also mentioned double puncture and inserted 2 strips in same hole . I never heard anything like that

      Please help me in guiding,

      1. it was not like a real puncture(i am new to tubless tyres)all small small leaks, is there any chance for tyre defect?

      2. Can i change it under warranty or something?

      3. Now i got 8 punctues in back tyre, will my tyre last and hold air pressure(today evening only i came to know)? or should i replace my tyres?

Possible; but then there're so many things to know; brand, make, the wear & tear, side walls, the usage pattern

Yes on prorata basis; since its a new motorcycle & you'll have to get in touch with the dealer who should be able to help you

If I were you, I would replace it ASAP, not for 8, but even with 2 punctures as I don't intent to take chances with my life which is million times expensive than a rubber tire. But that's me

Dude i went through the above link. same situation here . I am f'kd up by the puncture walla
it was intensionally made by him..

Possible; but then there're so many things to know; brand, make, the wear & tear, side walls, the usage pattern

Mine is MRF Nylogrip Zapper S 130/70-R17. I have done only 900 KMS on my odo

Yes on prorata basis; since its a new motorcycle & you'll have to get in touch with the dealer who should be able to help you

I already asked service guys. they told there are no warranty for tyres unless its manufacturing defect like air bleed, etc. in confusion i agreed to patch the puncture. Puncture walla did it on 7 places. Dont know now they will consider my tyres for warranty becuase we made 7 holes in tyres.

If I were you, I would replace it ASAP, not for 8, but even with 2 punctures as I don't intent to take chances with my life which is million times expensive than a rubber tire. But that's me
I am serioulsy confused now. i have heard stories tyre shops take old tyres for good price(in my cases 3000 km ran tyre set taken for 2000 rs in exchange of 5000 rs tyre set.)
Mine is only 900km but having puncture marks. will they exchange my tyre? is there any chance?

          ----consecutive posts auto-merged-----

One more thing. all 7 punctures are in bottom only. 4 of them in same place(within a palm size area) and other 2 around the tyres.

None of the punctures are made in sidewall. will this tyre serve its purpose atleast for next 6000 km becasue its very new tyre? or replacing it is the only option? I do daily commute of 40 km (speed 50-70kmph) and 500 km round trip once a month(speed 60-90 kmph)

Pls post some crystal clear pictures of the places where the punctures have been fixed & the side tire walls. Without examining its hard to suggest anything.

I spotted a CBR 150 R and a 250 R next to each other today. I thought they had the same rear tyre profile. The contact patch/area on the ground looked similar too. Then when I went closer, the tyre on CBR 250R had 140/70 spec. I just want to know why this size difference and which has more contact area? How can the 10mm size difference be justified? Someone please clarify this

Tks for the pics; Generally the tire looks good, but, have you actually seen the actual puncture being fixed on all these spots? Were there soap bubbles appearing at those spots when checking for air leaks?

Tyre looks awful dude. You better change it.why risk it for a mere 2-3k.?be careful and a bit more cautious if and when you have a puncture to fix next time.a tubeless tyre looses both its speed rating and load index rating once its punctured,or so i have heard.some time back..i too suffered a puncture in my rear tyre(tl).did a lil research then and this is wat i got..external plugs like in yours are just a temporary fix..till u reach the next tyre shop.for a good fixing..its recommended that the tyre be removed and plugged from inside too..some sort of mushroom plug or something.google it.but i have never seen any place with that facility anywhere here and i doubt u wont be able to find it either..anyways..imo..better go for a new one.oh..and btw,i did fix my tire the same way as above.it was just a small pin hole.have ridden around 1000 ks now.will replace it for the next puncture no matter how small it is

3750 for two Sirac tires is a good deal. Your post gave the wrong impression that you bought 1 Sirac tire for 3750, that's why we both thought you overpaid. Never mind, enjoy!

Use the tire. No issues. Once the extra protrusions wear off with use you can hardly make out that there is a puncture there.

From next time be careful when dealing with the puncture guys. Observe carefully if they try to sabotage the tyre by doing something in a discreet way. If a tyre guy wants to remove the tyre to fix the tubeless puncture then then you move on to a different guy. On two wheeler you need not remove the tyre to fix puncture.

Better is buy a tubeless tire repair kit and use it to fix punctures yourself.

i have a issue with my rear mrf tyre. it kinda looses air from its sidewalls. i guess rim might be bent a bit though not visible or felt. could be tyre sidewall is not proper. someone suggested putting that liquid inside tyre that seals up with contact to air. is it a good idea ? will i never have to fill air then ? the puncture walla was suggesting it for 150/per tyre. what do you guys suggest. i dont wanna buy new tyre or rim for my near 7 year old bike.
