I'm currently on a set of Metzeler Sportec M5 Interact tyres which have worn out after roughly 7.5k kms. I'm looking for something a little less performance oriented and more durable. My riding is, mostly, confined to the city and, at max, 3 150+ KM trips a month. The Pirelli Angel GTs caught my eye. Any info on Angel GT vs ST would be greatly appreciated. I'm open to suggestions. Thanks.

Re: Tyres
Hi All,
I have TB 350 and my stock tires are 11000 KM old. I have a Laddhak ride in next month so was planning to change my rear Tyre size 120/80-18.
So there will be much of off-road or no road
ride involved.
So please suggest some good option that can be considered.Miles Munching

Re: Tyres
Ceat Zoom is a good option. It is a tubeless tyre but can be used with tube as well.Originally posted by Funrider View PostHi All,

Re: Tyres
can't say about the performance, but once the ladakh trip is over if you're going to ride in the city then I wanted to inform about the kinds of knobby tires that "don't" develop a very delectable wear pattern when ridden on tarmac.Originally posted by Funrider View Post...views about MoGrip Meteor-M.
Mrf - meteor-M , moto d
ceat - gripp
ceat - gripp xl - can't say
ceat - vertigo sport - comparatively less
ceat - secura sport - can't say
mrf - meteor has least problem
The center portion just wears off, & at a very fast pace compared to the sides.
just my honest opinion guys.
P.S : this post hasn't taken into account the variations in different sizes across particular models. ( like the infamous variation in characteristics found in zapper C - 120/80 & 100/90 )Last edited by curve_king; 06-10-2016, 03:27 PM.

Re: Tyres
Mum-bikers, any recommended Ceat tyre dealers around Mumbai? I would like to change my RE C500 tyres (Front 90/90 - 19", Rear 120/80-18") from MRF Zappers to Ceat gripp xl. Zappers are decent in dry, while not so in the wet and scary in the slush, so planning to change them ahead of the monsoons. Any body know where I can get them (Ceat's) in Mumbai?

Headlight can be replaced, Head cannot be. Wear a helmet.
