and if it is ok to replace the tyres on this bike, the stock tvs tyres that came with the glamour are

front - 2.75x18- 42p/4 pr *both tyre sizes are from maxabout.
    rear - 3.00x18- 52 p/6 pr.

but the tyre size of the tubeless ones (michelin) are 80/100- 18 47 p.

are the sizes of the tyres same??

    .
Your shop keeper was right. It is not safe to put tubeless tyre in normal wheel though in some way it is possible.

Regarding the tyre size, the one you mentioned 80/100-18 would fit your bike. may be its around 3 mm high but that wont be an issue.

If you desperately want tubeless tyre, then change the wheel to tubeless one and then fit the TL trye.

Changing your bike is not necessary unless you are not happy with the bike performance for your kind of travel. I would say change your wheel and tyre to tubeless one..

Change it ASAP. Looks like it's worn irregularly.

                    Hi guys.
It has been 500 kms since my front Tyre upgrade to the Ceat gripp 3.00-17 (for better off-road grip and as an experiment I wanted to try). Handle was weighed up by 15-20% . But it is not much of a problem for me . The Tyre just holds its line on every terrain I tried (road , slush , sand , gravel). Braking feedback is just awesome( can feel the Tyre gripping even under hard breaking)

                          • Yamaha R15 V1 Tyre Change

                            Hi,

Presently i have stock tyres (MRF) 100/80-17 in my R15 V1 now i want to change my tyres to 120/80-17 does changing in size causes handling issues or mileage drops etc?
One more thing after installing new tyre I'm thinking to fill anti puncture liquid in it because roads near my house r not good and had 5 puncture in 6 months for present tyre soo thinking to fill anti puncture liquid does this causes balancing issues or obligation and puncture guy said that liquid will causes rust to rims im very confused please help me

                            Thanks

                            • Re: Tyres

Good quality Sealant won't cause any damage to rims. But if you leave your bike unused for a long time it will accumulate at the valve area making it a bit tough to top up air.
For the tyre, 120 will make the bike sluggish so I would suggest go with Pulsar tyre 100/90 if you really want to.
