Re: Tyres
Hello!
I am looking for a replacement for my Apache RTR 180 ABS tyres.
I have zeroed in on the REVZ radial series 120'' .
And for the front, I will be going with a zapper of the same dimensions as stock
Any suggestions for front or any negative feedback on the REVZ?
Thanks in advance

Re: Tyres
Revz 120/80 is great being Radial, for the front Zapper FY1 90/80 is a wee bit low profile and grippiest with full on feedback, the combo is just amazing.Originally posted by Raman Swaminathan View PostHello!

Re: Tyres
If he is upgrading both the tires, then it'd suggest him to check the Zapper Vyde and Masseter 120/80 and or the Masseter 80/90 or the Zapper FYI 80/90 for the front end, both are very good tires. Though the stock tire rating of the 220 is 90/90 and 120/80.Originally posted by Raman Swaminathan View PostWill do! have to see the price ranges in Hyderabad.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.
THE END

I am running FY1 90/80 up front and Vyde 120/80 rear on my P150. While a friend of mine runs FY1 and Masseter 120 combo.
FY1 is, let's say just FY1, known for phenomenal grip and cornering stability, be it dry or wet tarmac, you can even pull stoppies with this tyre on wet tarmac. Its got a round profile just like the Masseter and it looks great. No wobbling or fishtailing even at hard braking or locking. It just grips and grips.
Masseter rear 120 is great, very stable at corners and offers great grip. The compound is good and same soft compound as used in Zapper Vyde. No fishtailing observed yet.
Zapper Vyde is known for grip, an almost bald Z Vyde will offer much more grip than a heated new TVS Srichakra or even Zapper C 100 section. Though the profile is flatter than Masseter, the tyre shows fishtailing under hard braking only on dry tarmac, on wet tarmac it just shines and doesn't usually fishtail until there is debris on the tarmac.
..
About the price - Zapper FY1 front is ₹1650-1750. Rear Masetter is ₹2800-3100. Rear Vyde is 2400-2900. Front Masetter is 1700-1800. Cheers !
For the Pulsar I would suggest a 120-130 section rear tyre with a roundier profile like the Masetter. Revz is just too flat, even Vyde is roundier.Originally posted by Raman Swaminathan View PostWill do! have to see the price ranges in Hyderabad.
