Hey Praful,Originally posted by prafultripathy View PostHave you tried IRC for a rear tyre?
You can also try ordering Duro from KRP.
I was just thinking about the talk we had about your tire combination at Nandi. All were riding, I was skiing. Refreshed the page and saw your post
. I was also thinking of the IRC combination. Where is it available in Bangalore?

Hmm, sounded good, called up the MRF dealer and asked about 100/90-18. He has a Zapper Y. Any thoughts on that? How is it?Originally posted by Sarvajit View Post@MaSh: You can alternatively try a 100/90/18" tyre also for the rear. It is very marginally bigger than the 3.00*18, but would give you many more options&better stability!
No yaar, have not checked out KRP yet. Swinging between this MRF dealer and Iyengar.Originally posted by prafultripathy View PostWhere exactly in Bangalore even I don't know, post up in Kadambam for assistance.
Btw, did you check out KRP?**MaSh**

I don't have any experience with Zappers other than R15's. My friend cribs that his CBZ-X's Zappers (donno which ones-Y or Q) skid in gravel, but hold well in rain. The new CBZ-X is also coming with GeoCruiser now.Originally posted by MaSh View PostHmm, sounded good, called up the MRF dealer and asked about 100/90-18. He has a Zapper Y. Any thoughts on that? I am also using a Dunlop GeoCruiser 100/90/18" on my Fiero F2 since 30K kms.(yes I myself donno how it lasted that long!)&no degrade since it is a hard compound. By no means a corner carver, just ok for normal city use!
I suggest if you are going in for tubeless, get 2.75*18"&100/90/18" Zappers at the front&rear respectively.Quench my thirst with gasoline!

Yes, correct, Zappers are known to slip around, though I am not a corner carver or the types. Got spokes, so have to go for Tubed. Well, I have strained my head enough past few weeks for tires, and right now i seem to be heading for M45s front and rear stock size. I should have something by this week end.Originally posted by Sarvajit View PostI don't have any experience with Zappers other than R15's. In that case, if you are going for tube type, I would strongly recommend the GeoCruiser for rear atleast...front I would suggest stock TVS tyres/Dunlop Cruiser something-check the new CBZ-X's tyre config, should suit your requirement perfectly.Originally posted by MaSh View PostYes, correct, Zappers are known to slip around, though I am not a corner carver or the types. Also have a look at the Suzuki GS150R's tyres-they are also 2.75*18" front&100/90/18" rear.Quench my thirst with gasoline!

More or less yes..i think its a good option as as alternative to sirac. Is it costlier or cheaper than sirac..??Originally posted by ajinkya View Posti guess these can be alternatives to the siracs.
Moreover i think that it is certified as Tubeless, as compared to sirac which is originally a tube type but ppl use it as tubeless.
