    Having said that, from all the information I have is that 120/90 17 will fit the Pulsar 180 without any modifications. Also for your information, 4.00 18 is the same size as 100/90 18, so you could opt for that in case you do not want to fit a wider tyre like the Sirac.

    In case you need information on Dealers, let me know which city and I will revert to you with the Michelin Account Manager who you can contact.

      Sorry for the mixup in my prev post, started talking about 18" in a discussion about 17". That what happens if you do too many things at the same time.

        He actually has good range of tires, where as others dont have.
        You know that now My bike has M45 4.00 18" now bought at Rs 2000/-. Surprisingly all the others were quoting it as Rs 2200/-.
        BTW..Sold of that Geo Crusier for 500/- which had run around 7K kms.

        @GoGreen
        My stock tire was 100/90 18" (Dunlop Geocruiser) and now replaced by M45 4.00 18", It was not actually direct fit for CBZ Xtreme. Tire brushes a bit onto chain cover and had to modification to the connecting brake rod.

        And it looks much fatter and meaner than 100/90 tire.

          Aren't the two tires of the same width?

              Not sure about that.

              I have a 100/90 18 and 4.00 18 in front of me right now as I write, and they look the same width.

                • I have zapper C on my P135, it gets punctured every now and then, I am seriously thinking is it fault with my particular tire or zappers are more prone to punctures being soft compound tires, and does MRF gives warranty on its tires as MICHELIN gives?

                    As per my understanding, a 4.00 inch tyre is roughly 101.6mm in width if converted exactly, which is the same as the 100/90 tyre (100mm width) barring the inconsequential 1.6mm difference, which won't be noticeable to the naked eye even if so. So I'm guessing it only appears larger because of how it's constructed or designed. Sorry for nitpicking.

                        The 140/70 has a higher profile than the 140/60 tyre and this will mean an increase in the gearing. You will lose a bit of acceleration but possibly gain a bit in top speed.

                        • Guys i have a MRF nylogrip 100/90-18 rear tyre on my unicorn. Now if i want to switch to a wider tyre without any mods to swing arm/mud guard which size is preferable? also does increase in tyre size mean a decrease in acceleration/mileage?

                              @Gaurav: What are the size options for the M45 in 18" for a rear tyre? And how much should they cost? And also could you point me towards some dealers who would have stock of it!

                                here you go.

                                @GoGreen, MAraque

                                Here are the pictures of M45 4.00 18" on CBZ Xtreme.

                                I have to get some curve on the connecting brake rod to avoid tire touching it. And on Tire almost brushes the upper chain gaurd.

                                But, Its still good. No problem with the tire at all. Im loving it.
