Thanks for the clarificationsOriginally posted by worrisomebear View Postyou can get these tyre in mumbai at metro tyres. many zmr owners swap them to michellins.so u may get them there.
also u may get tubeless at mrf outlets
I stay in Pune, so i guess will have to check at the mrf outlet only!! My query was just that whether they are available at mrf store or not..

@ all the tyre experts here.. Can someone tell me how's the review of MRF Zapper C and MRF Zapper Vyde tyres? How's the performance of these tyres? Especially in wet conditions and when in corners.?
Here's the link to the tyres website. Also attaching a screen shot of the website for better understanding.
MRF Tyres
Thanks in advance!

I have stock of R15 tyres with me for my consumptionOriginally posted by Sarvajit View PostAre you looking at tyre options for your R15? Neil (neil.jericho) is the person to ask.
I would suggest you to wait till the new R15 comes, the spy pics indicate different rubber.
As of now the options available in stock size are Pilot Sporty (against special order), and Pirelli MT75. The stock tyre is too soft.
Another option in stock size is Ceat Vertigo, but that is a button type offroading tyre.
I'm looking for dual purpose tyres (Rear). Open to options. Please suggest and if possible mention prices. Any good ones from MRF?
P.S. With strong sidewalls would be an added advantage!--------------------------------

according to me MRF ZAPPER C is the best motorcycle rear tyre manufactured in india. it gives good road grip in dry as well as wet conditions, and cornering also. this tyre is not to be used off road. it gives a balance between road grip and tyre life.Originally posted by ketan_r15 View Post@ all the tyre experts here.. MRF Tyres
Thanks in advance!
ZAPPER VYDE is also a good tyre, it is wider than Zapper C, and becuse of tyre size and tread pattern i think it should give better grip than Zapper C on road in dry conditions. however in wet conditions it may not be able to give good grip, becuse of its tread pattern. i have used Zapper C but not used Zapper Vyde. My opinion of Zapper Vyde is based on its Tread Pattern. Also its performance off road and in mud/Kichad (Hindi) will be worse than Zapper C, again beacuse of its tread pattern.
Can anyone tell me where in pune i can get imported tyres like Michelin, Pirelli, etc...

What is the ideal time to change the tyres guys ?
I have a 2007 March CBZ Extreme. Did 20k till now and running on stock tyres. Not really sure about the interval for tyre change. I can see that the tyres have developed lot of cracks(not sure of the exact word. . there are many many small fractures or cracks on front and rear tyre) Is it time i change the tyres ? Which ones' would you recommend ?
I want tyres which offer better grip than the stock ones and was looking at the MRF tyres, tube and tubeless, liked the profile of the tyre for rear tyre. A friend of mine used it on his Unicorn and gave a +ve review. What do you guys have to say?guys..if you ever need blood or want to donate blood, please refer to this site :

Do you ever notice that when you're driving, anyone going slower than you is an idiot and everyone driving faster than you is a maniac ?
