are you sure about pilot sporty for 220? Its available only in 100/80 x 17 for now..... What size did u find? And if u have the money then go for sports demon..... Its the best 1.... If you are riding in city only the sirac wont do justice....u will get superb grip but loose out on performance and mileage heavily.... And zapper vyde is really good but it looks thin since the tyre is round......Originally posted by tapas View PostThis Tail Is Japani Tail (spell as you like)

any drop in mileage/pick up/performance???Originally posted by ashwin208 View PostIve got Pirelli SDs in 130/80 and 100/80. Works fantastic. No issues wht so ever. 4k kms old and going strong !
i thought by not sticking to 120/80 and 90/90 would reduce the above...
again really confused

Query
Pirelli SD's are best with the grip, be it wet or dry. The only con is that they have a life size of around 15k. Mine is 16k old and is starting to loose out. Also please avoid off-roading with these tyres as they get cut/wear very easily(Attributing to the soft compound i guess).Originally posted by ashwin208 View PostIve got Pirelli SDs in 130/80 and 100/80. I get an average of 37-38 with the PSD and have recently clocked 140 on speedo. Hope that answers your questions.Originally posted by tapas View Postany drop in mileage/pick up/performance???

Now coming to my question, I have decided to go for Sirac at rear for my 220. However i have not yet zeroed in anything for the front.
Guyz, can you provide options with pros and cons for the P220 front tyre.
Note:
I ride everyday to office = 40kms mostly on highways.
Weekend rides/touring which will be again mostly on highways. But since the road conditions are bad & there will be some off-roading while touring want to consider tyre that can handle the off-roading well.
Awaiting your precious comments/suggestions.
