      M45 isn't available in Indian market as now there is a rule that no seller can sell an imported tire in Indian market now but i want to know that why aren't you satisfied with Sirac street, I am using that same tire & according to me its best option available in market..i went to tour places like chakrata..tiger fall..using this tire & it was awesome there..

      bro sirac street is a great tire & m using it in my ZMR.its much much better then this stock Zapper of ZMR & m feeling much more confident while riding my bike with sirac while on or off road..m attaching a pic of my bike's tire along with this post of mine..

            bro sirac street is a great tire & m using it in my ZMR.its much much better then this stock Zapper of ZMR & m feeling much more confident while riding my bike with sirac while on or off road..m attaching a pic of my bike's tire along with this post of mine..
            The bike's stock rear tyre was 90/90x18"&I couldn't find that size at all. Though MRF had put it up for Zapper Q on their site, no dealer stocked it, so I went with a 3.00x18".
            That could be the reason for fishtailing though there is no wobbling. Only thing I don't like about the tyre is fishtailing on hard braking but the tyre alone cannot be blamed for this. I'm aware that the wheel rim is bent slightly&bearing is also worn out.
            Otherwise its a good tyre considering the construction with softer compound on the sides. Never had any problem while cornering.
            Quench my thirst with gasoline!

I also accept this- "Using front tyre for rear or rear tyre for front causes problems with stability".. And thats y i changed my rear from Zebra 2.75x18 42p to 3x18 Sirac (But actual rear size of splendor is 2.75x18 48p). It was a blunder made by service center by puting 42p instead of 48p.

                  But My doubt is about the tyre thread. My current front tyre is rib typed. I want to put zebra tyre into front. Mechanics say no to Zebra type tyre on front.
                  Size of front tyre fitting is ok (both tyres are 42p). But the threading confuses me.

                      Me too bhai, not 100% happy with sirac wrt handling and stability. But is much better for gripping, rough road and also looks.
                      I had both options thats M45 and Sirac. But chose sirac because of its large thread buttons and with a hope that i will withstand the worst road conditions in my location and with decreased punctures.

                        Yes Aneesh, As per the dunlop website Falcon Tyres Ltd it says both zebra-y and maxi-rib with size 2.75x18 42p are for front use on HH Splendor plus.
                        Ok as per u say, 2moro i will just go and change tyre form rib to zebra.
                        Am mainly changing tyres for experiencing best performance in wet rainy bad roads in my locatily (South Chennai suburbs). Currently, its raining good here and the roads are in bad shape as i expected. So its best time to Change the tyres and test it for a week or 2.
                        If i am satisfied, then i will continue with zebra for 3 more years or unlit it worns outs. Otherwise i will change back to Rib and wait until it needs a complete replacement to Michelin M45 or MRF.

                          Urgent tyre Help!!!

                          Hi guys!
                          I own a Pulsar 200. Have still got the stock tyres.
                          Its been 4.5 yrs on them and bout 30k kms...
                          The problem is dat recently they went thru a bad puncture and it has ripped d tyre out of shape and I have to replace it...
                          I checked out the posts on this forum and got that mrf nylozapper fs or f or q are good for handling water and tarmac... I hope I am right.
                          But I could not find anyplace that sold these tyres...
                          Please guide me where I can find these or some other tyres that will give me grip... I stay at Andheri west in Mumbai..

                              Ya, u can go for Sirac as diablo said.. Its good for grip and bad roads.. Even my bike'd rear tyre is Sirac.
                              But if u craze about MRF tyres and u believe only of stock tyre company then i guess u gotta wait (in ur city maybe).. Sometimes cities suddenly go out of stock of tyres. Even i had a same problem i decided to buy Michelin. There were low stock in city and dealers were expecting for new stock. so u gotta wait for few days.. U can collect all the contact numbers of MRF authorized dealers in city from internet and ask them all if anyone had stock. Otherwise u gotta wait. But if u r in real urgent, then u can go for Sirac. A little more bucks and a great joy ride..

                                I have a Pulsar 135 LS and I would like to get better wider tyres for more grip(and looks) but I don't want to loose out on performance although I can sacrifice a bit of mileage. I don't want to make any modifications to the bike whatsoever to accomodate wider tyres.
                                These are the tyre specs on my bike:-
                                [1] Front - 2.75x17
                                [2] Rear - 100x90x17

                                What tires should I go for and what brand should I consider?
