yes you can however performance air filters are specifically mad for tracks not really for dusty conditions like India. also K&N is notoriously famous
of letting in bigger size particles which on a long run will damage your engine. if you still want to go ahead do it however make sure you get the carb tuned
accordingly a increased air flow will make your engine run lean and will get over heated. multiple cases of bust engines on a long trip known with k&N.
also as you are adding a FFE the ECU wont be able to compensate 100% for the gain and exhaust geometry change. you will get the sound you want but not 100% of the performance gain. if you want to use a FFE + performance air filter then also all a ECU remap else piggyback ECU to enjoy the gains else it will be nothing more than extra sound.
instead of K&N rather look for green , simota etc.
by modding anything hopefully you understand the reliability of the machine also reduces. and if you haven't purchased the exhaust yet then rethink on your decision. a single cylinder street bike with a FFE won't be any better than a loud dirt bike.
