I am highly interested in creating 3d designs (car / bike) and also I want to know which software is good at rendering.
Can some one suggest me to good software to create 3D images + rendering.
How about solid works / Hyper drive ? Is these s/w are user friendly ?
please pour your suggestions.

For 3D... Maya is the best, n you can also use 3ds max. Enjoy.Originally posted by amvj View PostI am highly interested in creating 3d designs (car / bike) and also I want to know which software is good at rendering.

They both have different approaches towards modeling. If you like to do a lot of NURBS based work, Maya is better. On the other hand, Max's poly and spline tools are extensive and it also has some sophisticated lighting tools.
Both are equally resource hungry, Maya a bit less so (Unless you try Maya hair, fluids etc.).
Go through a few Youtube vids to get a feel of both UIs and see which suits you more.
