usually in city ,it gives me 45-50 max.
highway drives return me around 50-55 mostly.
the max i got from it was 63 when i was restricting myself to around 60kmph for the whole trip.

Most of my mileage is covered within city limits maintaining speeds of about 40-60 kmph with occasional bursts to 90 kmph on certain sections of the ORR (when i get irritated when "splendor uncles" overtake me). I get an average of 48-50 kmpl.

Worst mileage was 42 kmpl (rpm above 6k) and 52 as the best (rpm below 4k)

PS: No offense meant to Splendor owners (My own uncle owns one)

                    My achievement!

                    Bike: Bajaj Platina 2008

I did this 2 weeks back. Filled petrol worth Rs.20(400 ml) and got a mileage of 39.9 km while riding in the city.
That means, a mileage of 100 kmpl from my bike.

100 kmpl in city conditions?? Are you sure you checked it proper way. 100 kmpl in city conditions seems very very unlikely.

Are you sure there was no fuel previously left in the tank? Also, after this Rs.20 fill, did you ride till it stopped or atleast sputtered?

Yes I filled the tank with 400 ml of petrol when it was completely empty. The next time I filled was when it became empty again.

P.S: I carried a bottle and a funnel for accurate filling.
