Well they make custom wraps for every bike ,so that may be the reason its so costly.
Will attach a few pics.2k is too less to wrap a bike.

        Re: Bike wrap

I must say that just looks wow.
But if the rims and frame's neon paint was part of the deal along with wraps then it was worth it..in paint we have limitations atleast in the indian subcontinent where not many air brush artists are there who can draw graphics on bikes

          Re: Bike wrap

          Hi

I've naked Gixxer ( White ) I'm planning to wrap my bike. Its very difficult to maintain the white color & had some few scratches on the tank as well. So i decided to wrap it with matt black. My question is will there be any problem for my bike once i change the color to black bcoz my RC shows the color - white. Also can anyone tell me how long will it take to wrap my bike. Checked in ebay & they have variety of vinyl wrap sheets for cheaper price.

Here is the pic of my bike. White is going to become matt black.Click image for larger version

If you are changing the colour from white to black...
You need to register with RTO of colour change...

And it's better to visit a local stickering shop for vinyl price than seeing online...

Time for wrapping depend on the parts you want to warp... if you going for only tank and side panels.. it's the matter of 4 to 5 hours...

Wrap Me Up guy is a highly recommended one, if you can afford to visit Pune or to send the parts of your bike to get the job done there!

Sunil sir, doesn't the wrap come out with time ?

In the end it is just a type of sticker and the glue will giveup.

I plan to do the same, buy worried about long term.

True! It is a 'sticker' job and cannot be as long lasting as a paint job. Plus it is more susceptible to harsh weather and and sabotage than paint. These issues can be dealt with by choosing quality wrap like 3M to some extent.

But wrap is preferred over paint when you have a complex design. Also it is much more easier to undo everything in case you want your stock looks back or want to try out new things. And yes, it is cheaper and

OK. In case of any other color except black ? I've some 3 colors in my mind. One of my friend know a wholesale sticker shop in Chennai. He told they even sell in retail as well. Price can also be cheaper & even feel the quality of the material.

Will the sticker damage my bike's paint if I peel off the sticker ?

                    Thanks for ur quick reply.

You can not change the colour without registering in the RTO...

As Sunil sir said... 3M warping is best.. and it doesn't effect you bike paint...

                        It won't damage, be assured.

I have done so much of stickering from local chaps and never had any complaint except the wheel rim sticker.

                        Cheers,

                            Wrap or Paintjob

So guys i have this dilemma of wither going for a wrap or a pai tjob on my Diablo (ninja650). Can someone tell me
                            1. whether wraps last long (by long even 2 yrs would suffice)
                            2. Do they get distorted due to the engine heat.
                            3. Does applying clear coat lacquer on top of wraps prevent them from peeling off.
                            4. Does quality of wraps matter(i m sure it does, but some online guys quote exorbitant prices for wrapping)
                            5. Is 3m the way to go.
                            6. Does getting a Paintjob reduce/increase the resale value of the bike.
                            7. Quote for a wrap is 5k and apintjob is 11k and the guy says that he cant guarantee the wraps wont come off.
                            8. Is there difference between vinyl wraps and normal wraps and if yes cant the vinyl wraps be moulded like normal stickers (which spread due to heating/hair dryer).
                            9. First hand account and inputs will be appreciated.
                            Abhishek

                              Hello Team XBHP,

i'm Shubham from Bhopal, actually i am here for Some help, I am having a Bajaj Pulsar 200 DSTI 2008 Model which is blue in color, i am planning to use Blue Mirror Chrome Car wrap sheet, but the problem is, i don't know where to buy it, i have checked many online shopping sites and they are offering big amount for it, i can buy from those sites but its all about quality. so the questions are.. :-

                              1. According to site it costs me 1k to 2k, but i can paint it from the market at lower cost.
                              2. is it reliable then paint.
                              3. if these sheet are available in market, then where i can buy these sheet.

Hey I am deciding to warp my bike with camouflage graphics will my insurance will be affected. Is there any legal documentation to be done when the bike colour will get changed due to wrap.
