hi dear, nitrous does'nt hav 100% oxygen, it has 36% and rest is nitrogen to help the engine in cooling.

nitrous boost & performance depends on the jet size used in nitrous kit. im using very small jet in my bike's nitrous line which increases overall performance by 30%. though increasing 30% boost with nitrous is too small, but putting bigger jet in nitrous line can give big boost but all the work has to be done so that engine reliability should not loose.

hmmm....very informative bro, im started to learn things now abt NOS.
i have few silly questions: whats the weight of a nitrox jet?
you just said performance boost what that exactly means, speed or power or both?
how long your jet boosts your bike?? does it recharges automatically or do we need to get it filled again???
i really sorry for putting up such silly questions but i dont have any short of knowledge abt NOS.

jet is a small brass thing with a very small hole from which nitrous gas passes, quantity of flow depends on hole of jet. bigger the jet size(hole of jet) more the power but less there will be stress on the engine if excess power is developed. nitrous boosts the bike when button is pressed.
