NGK IRIDIUM really counts as a marketing gimmick for our dear MOPEDS. So you are better off with normal plugs and use the spare money elsewhere.

Look at the edges of the electrode and the small extended arm like part between which the sparking takes place. If those edges are sharp then you are good to go. If not sharp and looking terribly worn, then please change the plugs.
          Also, check this Link.

Yes it can be used. Basically in Pulsar, just as a case in point there isn't a big difference from both the plugs. If you aren't sure which one to use, just check the threads on the plugs with respect to one used and the new Iridium. But in your case, it can be used without any problem.

i've already used ngk iridium in my tvs victor the bike performs well after that.........
does twin electrode give me such a performance........

You're right, twin electrode is a very good idea when it comes to cold start problems as the spark delivery is richer and helps in good combustion which means slightly improved performance. NGK is good too, but again, plugs don't offer much performance difference. But twin electrode is a good proposition.

                    Cheers!

Does R15 v2 make the most of Iridium spark plug and anyways improve FE, and performence.... AFAIK R15 v2.0 start with the same grunt irrespective of engine is in normal or in cold condition (thanks for the remapped ECU)

Which iridium will fit into my bike? and will it require a spitfire cable to be changed to compatible with the Iridium SP?

FYI, Spitfire and Iridium NGK are gimmicks for our mopeds. The effects are seen on SBKs and hardly make sense on our bikes. Better, get G power plugs and be happy.

You see Spitfire cables are good and combined with the plugs give good performance bump. But the catch is not out of world performance. Good firing and slightly increased pickup due to more power sent to the plugs.

Plugs alone NGK won't offer the expected performance other than slightly improved cold crank.

                          Cheers!

                            Thanks mate
I was exactly looking for a quite convincing response to my post, for why do I need to stick to conventional sparkplugs over the iridiums,

BTW any idea on the cost of G power?

P.S. My new stock spark plug is just 2k kms old.

                            Cheers:thumbup:

What I heard from most of Iridium spark plug users that, the performence is very negligible and unnoticed at times even when you rev harder.

But yes, can get away with better crank on cold engine & R15 is very good at it even with the stock plugs. So almost no point of opting for iridium to R15

                              cheers
