      Looks pretty good. Do not try to clean this spark plug by the usual filing or sand paper. If you look at the tip, it looks pretty clean.

        Thanks Dhairya! I cleaned it all around with a soft cloth&didn't touch the tip. Is that fine?
        @Others: I checked Shivanshu's post on the 2nd page or so, this seems to be normal. But, please give me your opinions too!

              @ Pulsar riders

              Hi fellow bhp'ians. I am new to this thread and hav few queries.
              1.At wat interval we need to change spark plugs in our Pulsars? How to identify tat it requires change?
              2.If it requires, Wat brand shall i go for? The NGK or BOSCH plugs does hav any significant improvement in performance or smooth engine note?
              Pls throw some lights on this...

                The spark plugs are needed to be changed at an interval of 10,000 kms (on most bikes). The NGK is a very good brand you can go for it without any second thoughts.
                I have recently changed my spark plug on my dio with an NGK iridium one. I can hardly notice any difference in the performance. The only advantage is long life & cold starting problems get eliminated. So changing of the spark plug does not give any noticeable differences in the bike's performance.

                    Oh my bad.. I thought it wil give a little more acceleration since almost in all d performance mods they include spark plugs too..
                    NGK G power, the name itself suggests some power. How much it costs for NGK Iridium plugs?
                    @franklyspeaking
                    Thanks bro. prices please.
                    Using these plugs wont void warranty na?

                      The spark plugs do give an increase in performance. Although the performance increase is marginal & ignorable. It just gives you a consistent performance by delivering a powerful & right spark. It will eliminate the cold starting problems & the engine will dome to life in just one kick. The NGK iridium costs you around 550.

                      Usage of such plugs donot void any warranty. In most cases even the showroom guys use the same NGK spark plugs.

                        Thanks mate. The cost is on higher side though. So this time i am gonna stick to stock plugs.

                            Even my honda dio came with a champion spark plug. They are very good spark plugs. The one i have changed worked till 17,000 kms without any problem. I never changed the spark plug from the time i have purchased the scooter (in 2005). The spark plug could have lasted even more but still i have changed it. Trust me these spark plugs are made of solid quality. "dum hai boss"
