well Actually, Chriss' accident changed my intentions and ideas towards riding.
I dont take anything for granted. Can't afford to.
When something like his accident can happen on one of the world's best bikes (BUSA), anything can happen on one of India's best bikes (ZMA).

I take it this way nowadays,

It was with the hope that XBHP users are able to judge themselves their own riding and do some introspection, that I posted the article. I am glad that atleast some people are being serious about this since our riding ability, judgement and common sense affect all road users.

On a recent trip while driving a Swift, my friend's i10 seemed to be faster on most roads. I realised that I would be able to match and beat him but that the car would take a beating in the process and more importantly, I would be driving beyond my comfort zone since I would have to be close to the car's limit with too little margin for error. So I just drove at a speed I was comfortable with and let my friend go ahead. 100 km later, I reached 5 or 10 min later than him and I didn't care since the drive was enjoyable.

xbhp and circumstances changed me a lot. And yes being critical to your self is necessary for your own good and some times for others as well. One day two boys on bullet 350 started racing with me after seeing my tinted visor. None of them was wearing helmet, so I didn't twisted my right wrist for their sake. They even showed me the middle finger but I was satisfied at last.

17......coz....i had a near death xperience after my accident....1 month in ICU.....6 months on bed. now i ride safe...much safer than wht i used to be before accident.........i still ride fast.....but safely.....ya sometimes any vehicle challenges me ......sumtimes i forget everything but still now i ride much safer.
