AGIP 5W40 Fuly Synthetic... is that Motorcycle oil for Wet clutches...?
Is it the same shown here Moto World (UK) - Products -> Bike Products -> Racing 4T 5w-40

BTW, the Mobil1 oil's I had stated earlier (lost the pages in server crash) are not Motorcycle Oils. Mobil doesn't seem to have a Synthetic oil for Motorcycles in India.

The AGIP synth oil that I use is not this one. This is the one available in india. It should be the perfect oil for the R15 too.Originally posted by HydBiker View PostAGIP 5W40 Fuly Synthetic... is that Motorcycle oil for Wet clutches...?

Using castrol 10w40 as of now 300kms completed, i am quiet satisfied with its performance engine is smooth and revving nicely
curious to know the state of oil after 2000kms will update you guyz asap.
P.S No offence to any motul fans these are just my views, but i was literally pissed of with the performance of motul 10w30 mineral oil my bike started sounding like a flour mill in local language we call ( ragi machine
) after 900 kms
no more motul or mineral oil from here onwards.
@ sandeep agip oil is available in jayanagar 4th block remember that ganesha temple were you were waiting for me
2nd left corner shop he stocks 15w50 and 5w50 both don't remember the price though
.

bprags & Sandip. Thanks for the info abt AGIP oil. I wanted to make sure it is a motorcycle oil for wet clutches....
Also, pls mention its API, JASO and SAE Ratings...
I am looking for using a good synthetic oil for my Victor... R15 has to wait until the 3rd service... the YAMALUBE is pretty good for that bike as of now.Last edited by HydBiker; 09-26-2008, 07:10 PM.

Take my word. Close your eyes and use it in your R15 too. You might be surprised with the pickup.Originally posted by HydBiker View Postbprags & Sandip. Thanks for the info abt AGIP oil. I wanted to make sure it is a motorcycle oil for wet clutches....

I have decided that I will not go for Synthetic oil for my R15 until it does 6K kms. Would u pls give me the API & JASO ratings of this oil... I am locking on SAE 5W40 as mentioned earlier... I have someone in Blr now so I might call them to get me a couple of bottles
PS: As stated from MotoWorld website, is it API SH & JASO MA?Last edited by HydBiker; 09-27-2008, 01:51 AM.
