hope you are doing well.

I would like to add another fact about how oils are marketed in India.

It is mentioned in the link given by you that veedol take off 4t 10w30 exceeds JASO MA2 and API SM. This doesnt mean that the oil is certified as API SM. If it is certified it will have the API donut logo on its bottle. Please refer to link below.

API Engine Oil Classification

In India, customers are made fools by mentioning that the oil "exceeds" or "meets" certain standards. If the oil sample is sent to the institute and actually meets the norms it gets the certification which is printed on the bottle.

Please check for the API donut on the bottle before buying any engine oil henceforth. Everything else is just
THAT IS ALSO A GREAT THING TO REMEMBER,

You can definitely use Motul 300V.
AX7 is 10W40 semi-synthetic oil. Please make sure that u buy 300V 4T factory line 10W40. As 300 V is also available in 15W50 grade

The other option will be to buy Motul 7100 4T 10W40. This is a single ester oil while 300V is a double ester oil. Please refer to the link below

Hi Divya, can you help me out with good oil for my ZMA it's 07' model...company recommendation is 10w30... I never paid so much attention to the oil grades until now..

Last year I changed my piston head assembly as it broke...I don't remember which oil I put. But after that I tried the oil from Honda...but that oil used to spill out a lot...specially from near the oil drain. I showed it to my mechanic he told me to change the nut...but with new oil Valvolin 20w40..now there is no leakage..and the engine is getting less heated not like when I was using the Honda oil.. I am pretty much happy about the current valvoline.. Any suggestions....???

Thanks in Advance.

On the contrary w.r.t Karizma engines. The engine was literally unchanged from 2003 to 2013. In 2003, OE grade was W40. It was revised to W30 with the Karizma R (added plastic cowl with an R on the tank) version.
kety213, you can use Shell AX7 10w40. But Valvolin 20w40 is good. Continue using it if you're happy. Ensure that you get the drain bolt's O ring replaced at least every alternate oil changes. You had the leakage probably due to busted O ring in the bolt.
GOLDWING, do not type in all capital letters. It stands for shouting if there is a whole body of text in capital letters.
