Ahem... finally I have the data... I wanted the on-paper specs of Fully Synth 4T oils and had to work very hard for these... A JPEG is attached with this post. If you guys have more concrete data please let me know...

Now let us check the values for each parameter of each oil and discuss upon which oil has better characteristics and which one can be better under what conditions...

I am using pulsar 200 for about an year now...i'm not satisfied with the performance of the bike and also i think to change to motul 300v oil now which is fully synthetic...

the main problem with other oils is that it is not freely revving...i feel that something is obstructing it to revv freely..

But the main problem with me is that i have no idea from where i can get motul oil, i am from trivandrum, kerala..

If anyone has any idea about this please let me know..

After how many km should I change the engine oil for my Bajaj Platina?
I currently use Castrol 20W40 Oil and replace the oil every 2500km.

Does the manual mention oil change every 2500 kms? All Bajaj's I've seen (didn't check the Platina manual) had a service interval of 2000 kms.. also, the oil u r using is good for 2000 kms and if u drive hard or in regular traffic jams it is recommended that u change oil every 2000 kms.

My Gladiator has done 14k.Have been using Castrol Power One since the 10k mark.
Can I go for Motul.The recommended rating for the Gladi is 20W40.Which Motul bottle should I look for?

If you are getting Shell Advance 4T Synthetic oils then try. Pls don't try the Shell Advance mineral oils that come from Bharat Shell (nothing but BPCL) factory... Also, be aware that Shell Helix range is for cars!

So finally after more than 4 years i switched to another engine oil from Honda's.
yesturday i got Castrol Power 1 for 250/- and ride is smooth for sure. let see how it works in the coming days..
