I've seen quite a few videos of some mechanics too, all monochrome stuff, but the in depth, precise, and simple details that these videos carry and are much much better than the rhetoric hoopla that's goes around today.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.
I have recently bought CB Unicorn and have given the bike for the first service this evening. The authorized service center guy wants me to change the Engine oil where as my friend who accompanied me refrained me to go ahead as the odo reads only 300kms.
I went through various sites but no one talks about change of Engine oil for a new bike. All the sites talks about changing the engine oil for every 2000kms or so. Please tell me if I have to really change the Engine oil during every service(free service) as the company guy asks me to do so!

Thanks.
Not necessarily every free service. If this is your first service, change oil now and continue as per the manual (for the free service to not get void) and change at the recommended KMS. If you've overshot your Engine oil replacement due date, then caluclate the KMS you've overshot and change them accordingly accordingly.
Bottom line, get your oil changed for the first free service now, and then follow the manual's procedure!

Thanks VJ.
Manual says to change the Engine Oil in the first n third service.
Just follow as per the manual. If you don't clock the KMS at recommended intervals, just recoup it with the following services.

Yes, I am planning to have this Change of Engine Oil in next service. Btw today I came to know that free service is a mere water wash + greesing
Whatever be the case, just make sure you replace at the correct interval for the proper set in of the engine and warranty.

Anyone knows where to source Veedol and/or Shell oils in Mumbai?

Why not try in any shell outlets. Definitely there should be one atleast I reckon.

Why not Mobil then?
