No, you are mistaken. It's Mobil 1 itself and is fully synthetic. Just Mobil is used for semis and minerals. Mobil 1 makes oil for both cars and bikes but car oils are manufactured here and bike oils are imported from Singapore and USA. Here is the link to my previous post with pictures regarding this.http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/universa...-oils-690.html

If you worried about falling off the bike, you'd never get on.

Hail Hitler. So my prayers were answered.

Finally laid my hands both the 1L and 5L and will be getting the 5L.

This guy didn't even know this oil existed, and now he stacks six cans of 5L and oodles more of Mobil Delvac MX.

And I asked him can you give me the oil for 1500 he was like no sir. I try again, no sir. I try again. 1530. 1500 errr... okay sir.

So it gives you a feeling of happiness at least someone bought some oil because of you and it can help fellow members too.

For a second I forgot that yours is 'imported'. All 4t oils from India are from Mobil and not "Mobil 1"
Mobil Super™ 4T 10W-30, 10W-40, 15W-40, 20W-40, 15W-50 and 20W-50

@B7ACKTHORN - Tumhaari to nikal padi.. Time to buy three four oil filters you are booked for 1 to 2 years atleast.
Its API SL oil.. great!

As far as I know, 'Mobil super 4t' and 'Mobil 1 Racing 4t' are two different oils. The first one being mineral and the second one fully synthetic. Only the mineral 4t is 'Mobil' and the other one is proper 'MOBIL 1'. Just check the pictures.

Mobil super 4t as you said (MOBIL)

See Both the snaps. Both are different. MOBIL SUPER and MOBIL 1 RACING. And still you have any doubts, then approach your nearest Lube shop and check yourself.

That is the best mineral diesel engine oil I have ever used in my car. Delvac 1400 also feels almost the same in-terms of smoothness.

Thanks, buddy. But unfortunately to lay my hands this, it took a month. Talk of the devil, it was coincidental junaid brought up the Mobil and Mobil1 photo above. Indeed I was definitely considering the 10w40 Mobil 1 4T. And why not take two months and get that too, and my OIL EXPERIMENT will end there or close..

But I think it still has long ways to go. But if I can lay my hands on Mobil 1, then definitely yes.

Cheers!

@junaid12345678 You and I are saying the same thing.

The terminology of mobil and mobil 1 is simple. Wherever you see '1' attached with mobil, it is synthetic oil and otherwise its mineral oil.
This goes from Mobil 1 oils to Mobil Delvac 1 oils. The '1' oils are mostly 'imported' from countries like malaysia. Yours is also 'imported'. These multinationals are following a trend, Motul and Mobil rely on imports for FS oils.. whereas companies like Total/ELF have a plant in thane for manufacturing FS oils in India.

So, the confusion on '1' and 'Imported' ends I think .. I have used Mobil Super previously. It was manufactured in India.

That would be made in between Malaysia and India - May be Sri lanka!

I dont think they have any SS.

No, mobil don't make any SS oil. They haven't thought about Srilanka yet. If they have, then definitely it would be from Sri lanka

B7ACKTHORN...so you will use delvac 15w40 in ur p220...right? what was wrong with normal delvac 1300 which was 20W40? but p220 uses 20W50 right? then how come u will use this? other part of the question is somewhere on a fb group there was discussion on engine oils going some i guess it was suggested that even in case the grade is 20W50 use 15W40 as diesel oilc can over clean the engine if higher grade used and we will lose compression... anyone can clear me up on that? how does

hello everyone, i am new to the biking community, i own a p180-ug5 (dec 2012)

the bike has covered 6200 kms, first service at 570 kms and second at 3700 kms.

until now the bike is performing smoothly and returnin a very decent mileage of 48-58 kmpl.

which oil should i use after 3rd service, plz suggest and also tell me why the company dtsi should be discontinued.

my friend also has p180 and is insisting me to stop using bajaj dtsi oil from now onwards.

planning the 3rd service at 6600-6700 kms

Point number one, I've never said I will use them on my P220.

Point number two, I've never said, I've used Delvac 1300 or 1400

Number three, to your point 20w40 grade will lose compression. Compression will lose only if the piston rings are worn and tight clearances are loose and a lot of other factors, but not comp loss as such.

Number four MX though a diesel engine oil isn't completely different than 1300 an 1400, with slight improved edge, that's all.

Cheers!
