You can change it for 4500-5000 kms for normal riding. (70% city & 30% highway)
And 4000 kms for high revs or extreme touring.
Do keep an eye on the Oil level once every 700-800 kms.
300v is one of the best engine oils of the world.

The range of engine oil available in a country is governed by the weather conditions. And therefore you may not find the oil type that you want. Please use the below image to understand the nomenclature of oils

You can easily extend it upto 6k KMS with no fuss. But for a cheap alternative you can consider 7100 at around 4k max.

0 is not at all an issue, it means the oil is just fluid enough in both extreme monsoon and summer conditions. You can go ahead and use it in your biker even if it's 0. Yes PETROL car engine oils is different from motorcycle, both synthetic or semi synthetic or mineral. Diesel oil can be used in motorcycles, my mech uses them to most of his customers, and they have antioxidant and wear properties which would suit the motorcycle as opposed to a *petrol car engine* which is altogether different formula.

              Hello Guys.... Any Help..?? Hyderabadis....

I have enquired in Ramkote (Famous for Automobiles), but unable to find the 4t Premium. Regularly i used to buy it in 21st Century Automobiles (Ramkote) shop, but now they are saying that 4t premium is not coming... (I think to their shop).

So for time being i have settled with Top1 20w50 oil (Purchased in same shop).. Though the oil is good (better than castrol), Bikes engine will be very smooth with Valvoline

So i request all you guys to share any address of shop selling Valvoline or any dealer address in Hyderabad...

              Thanks in advance

20w40 is the grade that's recommended by Yamaha and perhaps you can try the Motul 2T 510 or the Motomix Mineral or the 800 2T FS or the Yamalube 2T Gear lube.

                  Cheers!

Last week switched to Motul 7100 20W50. The Pulsar 200NS is liking it very much. My total riding a month is around 500-600 kms a month so what kind of drain interval should i keep for my bike 4 months or till 3-4k kms?

Whichever comes earlier? U mean that oil can't be in the engine for more than 6 months no matter how much its run?

Yes, Oxidation takes place over a period of time and this is not good for the life of oil. I generally change the oil around 2.5-3 months time no matter what. I think 6 months is long period to change it (personal view).

                            Cheerz!!

Yes 4k is a good figure if you want to extend it till that time period. But I've drained 7100 it at 5.2k but still felt the oil still had some juice in it. Though 3-4k might be a good figure, you can extend depending on your usage statistics. Frequent usage of in traffic and highways you can drain the stuff at 35. to 4k max else just for highway purposes 5k, that's the figure I've personally attained which I wouldn't recommend as such.

Fine, but I am not convinced about this fresh colour. Earlier oil(Veedol super swift 10W40) will change colour within 500 kms.

Please check your bike's oil filters at the time of next oil change. In my splendor, I have noticed some black colored hard precipitate in the drained engine oil.
(Found after third oil change, oil- Mobil Delvac 1400 14W40)
Somehow the combustion by-product is getting precipitated.
