The oil grade recommended is 20w50, which oil should i go for?? going through the thread i found that motul is the most used and recommended. So which grade would be best for my bike....??
Indeed, Motul is an excellent oil, but I think it's comes as choice unanimously from most folks. But there are lots of good oils too, try Shell AX7 20w50 and the Valvoline 4T really good oils. Motul is costly and it justifies its price. Though I would suggest to use a semi synthetic for 150 and sub 150 cc bikes which means they get the best of both world. So I'd suggest you 3100.

Sprinta 5000 if there is one oil I've searched for so long and couldn't source is, this oil, at least in my hometown, but then decided to stick to Motul.
It's a good oil, but make sure you get the grade right.

Vibes at 90+ speed is something excepted from a 100cc bike.

If you're considering Yamalube just go for it, I can vouch personally for the performance of Yamalube and all I can remember is good times with that oil. Gearshifts were hot knife on butter, engine tone changed to an extent, smooth whine, bloody good oil.

Yes availability can be an issue, but instead you can try Valvoline 4T 20w50 and a few of my friends use in their R15, good stuff. I highty suspect whether they have w50 grade in the bunk.

              Cheers!

I have filled my bike with 20W40 of the same brand. It is mineral oil. It is working like a gem. Costs Rs. 288.

Yes, it costs Rs. 288 here in Mumbai atleast. The post that you have seen, were they comparing the oil for any specific bike?

Nope they didn't mention any specific bike. All they've said is why use 20w40, try 15w50 and feel the difference.

I'd rate Valvoline and Shell AX3 in both the same criteria, absolutely no difference whatsoever.

Nah, it's just branding for the cash coupon, so that they sell more cans. Ordinary folks just want oil, they don't care 15w or 20w but at least the little educated like us can make the difference in choosing the right stuff.

                            Cheers!

Procured this oil from some outside shop Is this looks genuine???

I don't know how Hero recommends 6000KMs oil change when ZMA owners change every 2000 KMs.
