Yes the engine was not as smooth as it would be with shell oil. Due to which the vibes have uplifted..

One more query, whenever i ride by bike for a 500km after an oil change the oil level goes down(be it city or highway ride). Why is it so?
Oil level will go down on any bike when it's ridden. Considering the fact that when you change the oil, and replace fresh, the oil is completely drained from the cribs and crevices and when you top back up, they go and fill these places which is normal. A good thumb rule would be to check the engine oil level when the bike is left to stand overnight and the next morning that's when the oil completely gets gravity drained and shows up on the glass pane or dip stick.

When you run the bike even for 3 KMS the engine oil will get sucked in the engine and will show you less oil, that's completely normal.

P.S. Don't use MAK in the long run. Just top ups, it's adivsable.

    Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
    The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Not sure about the price in local stores at your place, it should be around Rs 110 per liter.

The link posted above is the link for the store in south africa where the price is mentioned as R 109 (109 rand) which is equal to (6.09 *109 = 663 rupees per liter).

I suppose Newrider88 lives in india, so he is looking for an indian pricing.

Motul 3000 20W50 would be around Rs. 260+/- 20 or so. Not sure though.

                      +1

I purchased the oil recently. But, 20W40 grade and it costs Rs. 288/ltr. I guess it should be more or less the same for 20W50. Till date the oil has been a gem.

                      Cheerz!!
