Has anyone bought Engine Oils or Motul Chain lubes from Snapdeal lately?
Are these genuine?

3000 4t is mineral 3100 is ss

so 3100 is a semi synt oil, always thought the Motul Semi-synt line starts from 5100.

check 7100 product, even image of product doesnt match.displays 4 litre pack. i had bad experience with Snapdeal in past when i placed order and was told product is out of stock after five days.

Surprisingly the same seller is displaying same products in Amazon. But with more genuine pics and shipping charges.

I can tell you that Motul now has knock offs in the market, especially the 5100 and upward range most pirated is 300V, that is the reason Motul has now given a tool to check the authenticity of 300V cans. Motul has a very long shelf Life, so no need to worry about it, mate. One of my friend has just poured in Motul 5100 in his Yamaha FZ and the import date printed was Mar 2004, and so far he has done more than 3000kms on the same oil. He has reported a noticeably smoother ride.

How do I check for authenticity? My Mechanic bought this on my behalf. How do I know this is Genuine Engine Oil? The colour of the Oil was usual Transparent Green but is there any other way to check?

300v is always better than 7100 . but in normal cases 7100 is more than sufficient. 300v is not cost efficient i think. 300v is works only if the engine is above 250cc. it is the only motul oil for superbikes.. in a 200cc there will not be any major difference between 300v and 7100. so try 7100 15w50
