Well, no offence, but I'm just saying it was not upto the mark I prefer. To me, it was like usual click bait videos I see from desi YTers, maybe his other DIY videos are good.

Besides, I too am an automobile engr and have some experience in QA and application engineering(new product development) in an auto-parts company, that's part of the Minda group.

Also, my current employment is in the field of lubricants albeit industrial. But still, I do understand what goes on into a lubricant. Though, since we're talking about retail products here so they usually don't share detailed info on them for end users.
No offence taken. I wasn't defensive either. Was simply stating the facts and the history behind the vid. Very few are qualified enough like you. Hope you can shine some more light on the subject if deemed necessary.

I guess the basic difference is that Motul comes from se Asia. And HP is made here isn't it? So maybe some difference in quality. Reviews seems to be pretty good though. Also HP price comes to 199 during sale or usually around 220. Haven't seen the 5100 price fluctuate.

Has anyone tried idemitsu fully synthetic oil in your motorcycles? I am hearing good comments on that oil from local mechanics and price also seems lesser at Rs.425/ltr. Wanted to check from you guys as well regarding the experience if any.

Use motul 5100, 20w 50 oil, best for bajaj engines.

Using Motul 7100 since a whole 40k kms, nothing as good as that. 10w50 grade.

The engine is rough in itself and the oil change won't make it smoother, but it would definitely dampen some vibrations.

                              Hello everyone.

How can I differentiate between a fake and genuine Motul 300V engine oil?

I am from Bhubaneswar and I bought a Motul 300V for Rs. 950 while mrp was 1035.
