• Re: Helmets

A friend is planning to get a new helmet. I suggested him MT. He liked the MT Axxis Atom.

But Spartan's site shows only Axxis Braking and Limited Evo. I have a question. Is the Axxis Atom officially imported by Spartan?

Sunnyside_up! and others please reply ASAP.

MT is exclusively imported and sold by SPG. Some graphics are not loaded on the website, but if you buy from an authorised dealer, you will get the SPG warranty.

Looking for a Modular/Full face helmet : Budget $200/INR 10,000

I am looking for a good helmet in mentioned range, have option to get it from Chicago as well. Planning to get an AGV lid from Amazon.com , please advice preferable options in this range.

Also advice options other than AGV (if to be purchased from USA) or any similar product that can be bought in India.

Hyd guys...has anyone of you been to the Zeus store? (zeus motorcycle gear)
I see they have a decent SOL stockpile. It'd be a great help if anyone confirms it is genuine. I really am craving for one SF1 (Acme/Cobra)
I contacted Let's gear up on FB and no reply, their phone seems not reachable, and SPG do not have stock and as also stated bu Sunny sir they are not with SOL anymore. So I am out of my wits end to get a SOL SF1. Zeus still is that shady new guy everyone is skeptical about. Please help me out. I am all ears to other brands too, Provided they are available in B'lore for me to try out and buy them.

Also Sunnyside_up! : Sir, please inform the guys at the store (SPG, chennai) to convey the same message stated by you above. Had I not checked this thread I would be waiting for a month or so to get the SF1 on their word!
cheran4200 Thanks for the suggestion mate, but honestly I have not heard of this brand KYT before and not many reviews about it here too. BTW I do not like the graphics on the lids here(Helmets).

And yet again the quintessential search continues...

rusty_mechs and Cheran4200: If you happen to pay a visit to BikingSpirit or Let's Gear up , can you just let me know the avaliability of a RED SOL SF1 acme in Medium size, would be of great help to me.

Not leaving other options, can I get a HJC, Scorpion or any reputed safe lid (DOT/Snell approved) near B'lore under 10K. Avoiding Online deals due to the size constraints and can't risk 10k!

I even thought of saving some dough to buy AGV K3-SV from Dainese D store in B'lore. I didn't get any info on them too. The e-mail mentioned in one of the threads is incorrect or some problem, none of my mails are getting delivered.
A big shout out to all of you B'lore guys, please let me know the avg./starting price for the K3/K3-SV and their availability in the Orion Mall store. A phone number would be of immense help.

TIA,
Conquistador

Zeus has now become the official distributor after Spartan parted ways with them.
So the stocks that Zeus has are most likely new ones. Also, if you look at the last few pages of the riding gears thread, you'll come to know how good their customer care is.
My suggestion is to stay away from Zeus and the newer stocks of SOL.

cheran4200 The church street store is old one. They are now in the Cash Pharmacy building on the St.Mark's Road and Residency Road junction in the same building as Triumph showroom.

My requirements are helmet should be comfortable, and less wind noise(my cruising speed is approx 90km/hr), should have a communication slot for bluetooth headset, and can fit glasses as i wear them. Budget 3-4k. Any pointers?
