My MT Revenge also has the same problem. It's something to do with the helmet's shape, I guess.

From how long are you using Revenge ? How about wind noise ?

Helmet shape and also because of use of spectacles or goggles, I had the same problem with the agv k3 series, the shell shape is in such a way that when you wear prescription glasses which has the tail end which pushes out , it tends to be bend because of the tight tolerance inside the helmet padding area and pushes onto out ear and causes extreme pain.

But MT initially was notorious for this problem, many people had faced this issue.

What are liners,lower trims??

liners are the padding inside the shell of the helmet.

nowadays most of the helmets come with removable liners for the ease of washing and replacement.

Guys knwo of any Helmet under 5K that does not have

1) Too much windnoise at least till 100kmph and
2) Ears don't pain after riding 1-2 hours (I use glasses so even more of a problem with me) ....

Brands like HJC which are supposedly ok on this front but start from 7.5k (as I checked online) ....

Need to buy in a couple of days, any advice would be of great help. Thanks!

No. But any decent helmet plus good earbuds costing less than 100 rupees could do the job.

Also called all Spartan shops in Chennai and none have them :-/ . I believe Bangalore would have, so will ride to bangalore this weekend. Any idea on a shop which would stock Sol? Will save some hunting around ....

Metal man has wind noise above 90 kmph. Ear plugs would be mandatory for peaceful riding.
Also, getting a spare visor would be prudent. Spartan wouldn't have stock for any SOL products. Zeus is the new supplier AFAIK.

Any reviews on MT Revenge ?

Well, I am using Revenge from last 6-7 months and good 7500 kms. I have no issues so far with this helmet. I have Replica Gp Revenge. It surely looks stunning, grabs attention anywhere I go. It does whisles past 90, but surely not annoying. I have L size. Padding took its own sweet time to break in and now its awesome. But in that phase my ears was paining like hell. I use spects so I took some time to find sweet spot to use spects inside helmets now no issues.
I suffer from migrane, direct sunlight gives me very bad time. So I use Iriadium Visor its looks freaking awesome on this helmet. Visor Change System is very simple. Your can surely carry and change to clear visor during the rides for night times.
Now downside...
there has't any. apart from helmet comes with Ratchet lock system not D- Ring. Dunno New stock would be with D-Ring Do Check.. Apart from this I found nothing.

In INR. 5150, you get DOT, ECE and SHARP 5 Star Helmet, Its worth every penny..
