Im not saying that SOL is bad. Its bad for me. I really not happy to give SOL. It was great. But at last our body should be taken care of than anything else!
Absolutely, fit and comfort comes first than looks and name. Also, if you can provide the photos of your your LS2 helmet with model name, so that others can be helped around in their decision to go for a helmet.

    Congrats on your buy.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
    The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Its a LS2 FF350 model. I cant take photos because I have to clean the visor. A passenger in a bus spitted while I was driving and the helmet is like stained a lot.

Pretty much any helmet out there do have some wind noise component to it. If you're hearing *unbearable* wind noise after 130, be thankful mate. Because there are guys with helmets which whistle like crazy at sub 100 speeds.

Pretty much most helmets, even high-end helmets to some extent induce noise when you're upright. Even race helmets will produce crazy wind noise when the rider gets upright. The helmet is designed to be crouched along with the aerodynamics of the bike.

That said. If you're looking for an upgrade, there are lots of them out there, and yes, who knows it might be even worse.

P.S. And thanks for the pics bro.

figured out a solution for the wind noise... for on that speeds i anyways cant hear .. so planning to use my etymotic in ear iem's with sansa..

else will get ear plugs.. helmet is pretty good fit..

i am aiming for AGV/HJC.. looking for someone travelling from states. so i can get one sub 200$ and i completely agree with your point of every helmet having wind noise... for each one of them after some time of usage will not be tight anymore and will leak wind to the ears...

this is the one i am aiming for .. sub 200 $

AGV is an excellent choice. Why don't you try KBC or HJC, these ones are pretty cheap and fall under <=$200.

Again there are 100s of helmets to choose from, and I always say this, choose what fits you, what you're comfortable in and what's best to your budget.

                Cheers!

You have a nice choice there mate. Go for the one, your heart says. There are lots of them, so I can't advice on which to go or not. It's completely your decision. And do post the reviews with photos without fail.

For 3 to 3.5K there are lots of good helmets, like LS2, Cross, Studds. Go for LS2, most of them have the LS2 here. It's not possible to post the photos and model number bro, takes time and unwanted space. You can go to their respective websites to find out more details regarding helmets. Google is your best friend.

for 3.5k most of the LS2's are in your budget

ff350 , ff351.5 and more.. to check out the models and how they look..
search LS2 in ebay.in and you will find all of em.. to check the fit visit any shops that have em..

L is the most common size.. guess its 570 mm

i would suggest if going for LS2 stick with FF350 else FF351 do not go for the pump inflate model unless you will be using it specifically only on highways else inflating and deflating the cheek pads is more of a mess than utility.
