Anyway, is it possible to get hold of an LS2 FF350 or FF351 in the mentioned price range? It would be great if someone could point me to a dealer too. Hope I'm not asking for much, thanks!

Is it the same dealer who has a store in nana peth? I called him up and he said range starts at 3k for an FF350.

      Need one before Friday!

Yup he is the same dealer, but if you go and visit the store in person than talking on the phone then he might give you some discount. Over the phone wrong rates are also conveyed because if the competition and other reasons.

My suggestion check it out on your own in regards to size, design and cost.

Just saw a dealer listing the FF351 for 2400. Too good to be true?

          And..
I called him (laxmi) up so that I'm not made to visit the dealer more than once (nana peth is 20km from here) but yeah you have a point with the quote on phone thing.

Ok, so laxmi it is? And which one would you suggest, the 350 or 351?

Many thanks for the replies mate.

The one that fits your perfect, the one that gives you the confidence that if you crash (touchwood) your head would be perfect like new.

              Of course the fitting bro
Apart from that, could you please tell me the difference between the two apart from design?

EDIT: Talked to the JM road store. He qouted 2750 for the FF351 Diamond. What say Eshan?
And he said I can choose between the clear and mercury visor. As I'll be doing my rides only during day and have a spare for city commute, should I go for the mercury visor?

AFAIK ff 350 and ff 351 are one and the same model,2750 is a decent price,ls2 is retailing for almost 3 k everywhere, banglore being the cheapest option for ls2 2.5k

Are you sure they're one and the same?
And, do you know what an 'air pump' is? An acquaintance who owns an FF350 Combat couldn't explain properly as he didn't have the helmet then.

And I'll try and haggle and get it down to 2.5k. Thanks for your reply.

An air pump equipped helmet enables you to puff-up the padding within the helmet so that:-
                    1. You get a more snug fit and
                    2. Wind noise from the air getting from beneath (near the neck-line) gets reduced.

AFAIK, air pump equipped LS2 starts northwards of 3.7k
                    Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

Yes they are the same,on the helmet ff351.1 is mentioned but on the box its mentioned ff350...I have a phobia which I picked up at 3k,...2.5k in Pune?all the best buddy, after visiting sevaral stores the best rate offered to me was 2900 by champion sports, didnt mind paying a 100 bucks extra for piece of mind of buying from authorised distributor.I had enquired about the air pump model as well, they have been phased out, pricing was upwards 3.5k

Go for clear visor, no visor can be used at night though, but tinted ones can obstruct vision during evening time when those small flies are present. Go for clear visor, also the visibility is quite good.

Yes the G-Pump ones are discontinued because if those inflatable pad bursts the helmet becomes useless also other hazards are present which do not support such a system.

@ Yash - Go for usual helmet man, dont confuse your self, clear visor, no G-Pump and design and model are basically one and the same as they end with the benefit called protection of your skull. Wear the helmet and check if you can move or not, rotate the neck as much as possible and see if you are comfortable or not, then only purchase the helmet. Laxmi Auto is authorized dealer, the price quotes is decent.

Please look at the options provided in the down option list also. For the price and features offered, I think Indian manufacturers are getting close to foreign brands. Please guide.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                              The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

                              THE END
