Thanks for the info. Yesterday I went to 2 helmet shops in koramangala Inner ring road. The person said now the prices are hiked and starting range of LS2 is 4k.
From 2.7k to 4k is completely outrageous. Even one fo my friend bought for 2.5k some 2 years back.
Actually as time goes and availability of product increases I thought the value will decrease. Here its the opposite. Is that shopkeeper just bluffing?
When did you buy your helmet?
Anyone bought recently in 1~3 months gap?

I guess it is time to renew my presence here on this forum. the other forum is too restrictive!

After getting my Iron 883, I was looking out for a Full face helmet for my long rides. I had got a HJC open faced one at the store for my short/city rides. Ended up choosing HJC CS 14 for the same. Boy! What a wrong choice of helmet! Fit and finish is fine. But wind noise - Unbearable! I just got back from a 800+ kms ride on the Harley and I almost went deaf! Gosh! I did make an impulsive purchase here. Advise to the folks who are considering buying this - - STAY AWAY FROM THIS!!!

Prices are likely to have gone up and newer models have entered. Bargain for a good deal if you are interested in older models (esp. FF350)

Oh thats way out of my budget. In that case my only option is Vega boolean. I felt its of the same quality as my current helmet (Aaron Hybrid).
Also currently Im struggling to get visor for my helmet as the Aaron distributor branch was in Utharakand. Due to flood delay is there.
So thought of going for a much much better one like LS2. Anyway it seems like I need to settle with Vega Boolean.
I did like dual visor of Vega boolean.
Tomorrow Im planning to goto JC road and will check out the prices.

I was loving the engine noise, whenever I could hear it. but the whistle of the wind was deafening.
So either I try this - at the cost of encountering some discomfort, or dispose this helmet off and go for better one's.

It will cut out the whistle. There is no discomfort even on very long rides, it is a very soft type of rubber. It would help anyone with any helmet in cutting out sound. You can't imagine the relief one has in traffic wearing those earplugs. All those incessant honks etc are muted down to an extent that they do not bother you.

@susheelkumar : Avoid Boolean and any type of modular helmets. Contact Divya Sharan, you will get LS2 in 3k range, Here LS2 still sells at same price, even the new designs.

OT : Can people stop quoting the entire post and images for few words

Studds starting production of a new series called Shifter tomorrow. Will be in market post sankranthi. The dealers have received this email. The guy was kind enough to show it to us on his phone. All we could make out on that puny screen was that it will sport various colors graphics, yellow and orange being dominant in most pictures. Hope it is the same quality as their Scorpion or Rhyno series.

Sunday, bought myself an SOL SL68II solid white helmet at Biking Spirit, Bangalore. The biking spirit guys are riders themselves and were quite helpful.

Bro how the ventilation works ? does it keeps the balaclava & head dry in long drive [ for say about hr or so] ?

Sorry pal, not tried it with a balaclava yet. The vents at the chin & two vents at the top worked well when I tried it but I have not been using it as the weather has been bit chill

The visor is the stock one/plain. I wear prescription glasses/sunglasses inside.
